Today I want to show you one of the prettiest lip products that I have – butter LONDON La Moss Lippy.
I have actually included it into my top 10 berry lipsticks for Autumn/Winter.
Here is how it looks like in the tube, vampy wine gloss.
I am absolutely in love with the colour, it is just perfect! But it took me some time for figure out if I liked the formula or not really. Since I have only one shade, it’s hard to say if all Lippys are like that or this only shade.
First of all, you lips must be in a perfect condition, otherwise, this shade will only make things look worse. Secondly, after experimenting, I’ve realized that it may be a good idea to use it over a lip primer (yeah, these days you can get pretty much everything; I do have one) or just a thin layer of foundation, or Touche Eclat, as I do.
It helps the gloss to go one more evenly without getting patchy.
With this shade it is very important that you don’t use it on-the-go and do spend some time, until it looks prefect.
Now that I’ve told you all the tricky things, here are the things that I love.
This gloss give a beautiful, glossy and intense coverage and feels nice on. You get a to-die-for vinyl & glossy wine lips, which I personally think are super sexy. Also you can use it over your lipsticks, to make them look darker and deeper. I have tried and loved it! Especially with Rimmel’s Kate Moss 107 lipstick.
And did I mention the name? As someone who loves Kate, I could not be happier.
As you can see, it may take some time until you master the application and get it right. But once you do – it is killer!
Here is how it looks like applied in one layer (you can make it look more intense) over a thin layer of Touche Eclat, the nails are Lancome 453 Infusion de Prune
You can get it for $18 from Nordstrom and £14 from Amazon.
Super nice! I think I’ll look for that lipstick since it seems that the gloss resembles the Clinique’s Black Honey gloss I have, a little more pigmented maybe but similar. Love the nails! 😀
