I have to say that I am loving exactly the same beauty and makeup products that I have been loving in June, I should only add a few extras. If you can still get those Clarins eye shadows and bronzer – do it! I use both almost every single day, and don’t want anything else. In fact, two of my girlfriends bought them after they’ve tried mine and got obsessed, as well.
The love for coffee body scrub, Color Wow hair Shellac and the bronzing drops is still going strong, too.
But here are the products that I would like to add to the list of favourites.
L’Oreal Glam Shine in Dazzle 201 Sparkle Shower (review and lip swatches)
It seems like this was the only lip product I have been loving this month besides the lip balm. I’ve bought this gloss last July and almost used it up. It smells delicious, feels nice on the lips and looks ridiculously pretty with that multi-dimensional glitter effect. Can’t get enough of it. And it is cheap, too.
Rouge Bunny Rouge Long-lasting Brow Liner ALCHEMY in Antimony 088
Rouge Bunny Rouge finally launched their eye brow collection which consists of four products: two eye brow pencils and two eye brow gels. I will write a detailed review with swatches soon but today I want to tell you about the Antimony eye brow pencil which is slim and allows incredible precision. The shade is not warm which is perfect and the formula is soft but not smudgy. It was worth the wait!
Garnier SkinActive Oil-Infused Micellar Cleansing Water
I’ve used up several bottles of the original Garnier micellar water and finally bought this one in July, and I am loving it. It cleanses the skin really well, without leaving an oily residue. I also find
I love ArtDeco, and I’ve had a post about their new body care line Senses Asian Spa in drafts section for several months now. But today I actually bought something from the range (see it here), so it is about time I finish writing this feature.
There are four different fragrances which come in different coloured bottles: blue Skin Purity, green Deep Relaxation, pink Sensual Balance and orange New Enegry. Some products are available in each category (room fragrance with sticks, for example) but some are unique and available in only one scent.
I’ve picked up the products I like the most from each range, and since I love oils, there are three!
PURE CARE SHOWER OIL. Soothing, gently foaming shower oil. The delicately
I was browsing Makeup4all the other day, and stumbled across this post from 2010. The point was to choose only three products I could use for my makeup. I was actually surprised by my choices, so thought I would do the same thing six years later.
So here is what I would go for and why:
I just have to have some kind of definition for my eyes, black liquid eye liner or a brown eye pencil, or even some eye shadows. But if I could use only one product- that would be this. These days I am loving ArtDeco, but there are lots of other nice ones I like.
Mascara ( Max Factor Voluptuous False Lash Effect Mascara, review coming later)
Can you actually believe that it is May, the fifth month of the year?! Time flies, it feels as if it was 1st of January only yesterday. And this month I actually have quite a few products, including some amazing new discoveries.
Max Factor Glossfinity Nail Polish in 85 Cerise (review and swatches)
I have already finished a bottle of this, and am going through my second one, and I am wearing this, as I type, too. Such a gorgeous vibrant, juicy and glossy warm-toned red, it brightens up any look, and (almost) any mood. I am a fan.
For complexion I have been using these two products almost daily: Diorskin Nude Skin-Glowing Make-Up in Ivory (review and face swatches) Rouge Bunny Rouge Naked Disguise Concealer in Castalia.
Dior’s foundation is simply brilliant, it is a re-discovery for me. I like the coverage it gives and the finish, it is not matte but not too dewy either. The shade, Ivory is the lightest in the range, and looks great even on my
currently greenish pale and tired complexion. As for the concealer, I plan on writing a detailed feature about it soon. Surprisingly, I have already used half of the tube, and the love is going strong. It gives just the kind of coverage I like – the formula is not thick but it brightens up the under eye area.
Other products I have been using all the time are Inglot Sculpting HD Powder in 504 (review) which I talk about non-stop, as it is my favourite product for adding
Since I use eye liner almost on a daily basis, I have very high demands for it. I have been using Rouge Bunny Rouge for years, until they’ve changed the nib. After considering different options: reading reviews and swatching in stores – I’ve decided to try ArtDeco Long Lasting Liquid Liner.
I like this German brand a lot, their products are always high quality and are not expensive.
And this liner is absolutely brilliant! I have been using it since February non-stop, it was even in my monthly favourites, and want to share my impression. Easy to use, this is the exact nib I was looking for, I personally don’t like those ultra thin ones. The colour is ultra black and intense. The formula is great, it glides on like a dream without dragging the skin.
