New Beauty Purchases: Collistar

Somehow I never bought anything from Collistar (Italian brand which has lower prices than luxury brands but higher than drugstore), although I did swatch quite a few of their products numerous times. But this week things changed!

I had to buy a new face cream for the BF and, after browsing different options, decided to get the brand’s Daily Protective Supermoisturizer  which also came with a cute mini after shave lotion. He had Clarins and Vichy before that. I hope he will love this one, as well.

Christmas 2015 Makeup: ArtDeco, Pupa and Kiko

Here is a quick overview of some more affordable beauty brands, such as ArtDeco, Kiko and Pupa, and their Christmas releases.

ArtDeco Artcic Beauty is all kinds of cool with Arctic Beauty Dust, Shimmer Cream, Sparkling Lash Drops and all those frosty nail polishes, lip and nail products. According to the brand this collection is all about  the “glittering icebergs, iridescent polar lights, delicate ice crystals and sparkling snow fields”, and it is beautiful.

Want It: Collistar Ti Amo Italia Spring 2014 Makeup Collection by Antonio Marras

Today I want to share a preview of Collistar’s Spring 2014 makeup collection, which is a collaboration with a famous fashion designer Antonio Marras. It is called Ti Amo Italia and is inspired by  Marras’ homeland Sardinia.

The brand describe it [collection] as “spontaneous, creative, intelligent, vibrant, seductive, passionate and exciting.” And, to tell the truth, I think this is among my favourite seasonal collections.

In fact, I have several products that I plan to check out in person, and, hopefully, purchase. If they are as good in real life, as they are on the promos.

Amore: Bonne Mine Effect Bronzer- Blusher (LE) in Verona and Tropea.

Can be used as a bronzer, blusher or mixed together, it is a star product of the collection.

When it comes to more affordable brands Italian Collistar and German ArtDeco are the ones that I love. And I like how this season both teamed up a fashion and a design brand for their collections.

Here is what to expect from them for SS15:
