Are Lip Scrubs The New Black?

I like observing those micro-trends in beauty, they are quite fascinating.  Do you remember that craze about the lip oils a while ago (I have a Clarins one)? It seems like now scrubs are the new “It” thing lips-cosmetics-wise.

While Lush and  Sara Happ  lip scrubs have been around for years, a lot of brands are releasing their option. And while some people say that mixing olive, or any oil of your choice, with sugar will give you the same effect, lip scrubs are popular as ever.

They come in a convenient stick formula; from such brands as Dior, Sephora, Tarte and Ciate, among others.

Eye Lash Makeup Routine: From Curlers to Top Coat

I’m not gonna lie, I am super jealous when I see girls with long, thick lashes…Unfortunately, it is not the case with mine. It could be worse, so I should not complain really.

But there are certain things I can do about it. I have never tried lash extensions for some reason and wearing false lashes every day is not an option, for me at least.

So here are the products that I use to get a make my lashes look decent:

First of all, I curl my lashes with shu uemura lash curlers, they open up the eyes and the curl lasts all day long. It is a great investment.

Then I use a lash primer, currently it’s Urban Decay’s Eyelash Primer Potion, it adds some length and volume without making the lashes look clumpy.

Next step is mascara – black Diorshow New Look or

SS17 New Lip Products: Dior, Gucci, Burberry and Kevin Aucoin

Last week I’ve spent several hours re-organizing my lipsticks: sorting out what to give away, coordinating what is left colour-wise, getting out the shades I should use more often and making a wish-list of what I want to check out. And don’t we all want new lip products for Spring?

Here is a selection of some new products that you can check out. And oh my goodness, those Gucci and Dior lipsticks look incredible! Mostly because, to be honest, I am kind of tired of those matte opaque lipsticks, gimme all the shine and gloss.

Dior Addict Gel Lacquer £26.50 from Selfridges and $35 from Bergdorf Goodman and Sephora.

Described as  the new-generation lacquer stick which are as easy to apply as it is to wear.  You get colour and comfort of a lip balm, it also promised about 6 hours of wear. Dior lipsticks are amazing so I expect a lot from this one. There are tonnes of shades to choose from, even a blue one.

Gucci Butterfly, Sheer Lipstick, $40 from Saks and Neiman Marcus

“Creating a dewy, fresh look, Gucci Sheer Lipstick’s light creamy formula glides on evenly and smoothly to the lips, moisturizing while infusing with a semitransparent color.” Those colours look so
