I don’t watch that many YouTube beauty videos, but there is one that I really liked, and that was Lip Products Addict Tag. I thought I’d do my own version in form of a post. So here we go…
My favourite lip treatment, sadly, has been discontinued, so the one that you can buy now has to be NUXE’s Reve de Miel. I am not very original here, but this thing is da bomb! It does everything you’d want a lip balm to do, nourishes and moisturizes the lips; it’s a perfect overnight balm.
Best Eye Catching Red
I do love a good red and have a lot in my rotation, but I’ve noticed that I get the most compliments whenever I wear Daniel Sandler’s Red Carpet Red. The name speaks for itself, no? It’s a gorgeous and flattering red, I highly recommend.
You can buy it from Feel Unique for £13.25.
Best Luxury and Best Drugstore Lipstick
My most-used luxury lipstick has to be Dior Addict, so I’ll include this
This season Givenchy’s makeup collection is about black vinyl eye products and gorgeous reds for lips and nails, there is also a cream blusher.
The products are:
Prime Quatuor Palette Metallic Reflection one matte and three metallics
Mister Intense Black. An intense black vinyl top coat for the lashes.
Liner Vinyl. Thin brush and
I did not write any “Want It” features in a while because, quite frankly, I see new beauty launches all the time and it takes a lot for me to actually want that product.
But today I want to share about two items which I would get this very minute: one beauty, one makeup.
I am a big fan of baby pink pink glosses, and 1 Pink Irresistible looks exactly like the type of product I would like. Especially now that my favourote pink glosses from Chanel and Rouge Bunny Rouge were discontinued, I am looking for a replacement. And this could be it.
Le Rose Perfecto Liquid Balm is promised to nourish (shea butter and cranberry oil), smooth, plump and hydrate (extract of pink pepper) the lips.
And let’s not forget the
As soon as I found out about the new eye shadows by Givenchy I knew that I had to test them for myself. And what about the results? These are my favourite Givenchy eye shadows so far, they are simply amazing! Smooth and pigmented and with the great colour selection.
I’ve tested these in the shop and I still haven’t got any because I am trying to save (haha) here for the holiday gifts for my family and friends and buy less makeup. But I really do love these eye shadows and I recommend you checking them out. My favourite quad is Khaki Egerie and it reminds me of my YSL eye shadows in Bronze Gold althought they are not the same of course.
I’ve realized that I admire people who go and swatch the whole collection in stores, I can’t imagine myself doing that. Although I did try almost all the shades I can’t imagine myself taking out the camera and snapping photos, no one will let me do that. And the photos on my phone won’t be helpful at all.
Every time I am somewhere near my Givenchy counter I can hear these eye shadows calling out my name but I try to resist, we’ll see how long I can manage to do that. So far I’ve been good for quite a long time. Now I try to buy makeup and beauty products that are on my list and this makes me think that I need to share my wishlist with you all!
And have you tried these eye shadows? Which quad do you like the best?
Here is a preview of the Givenchy Autumn 2014 makeup collection – Extravaganzia. And I love the lines for this campaign – Naturally Eccentric. Extravagantly Natural.
The products in this collection are:
Palette Extravagancia: Must-Have, £45
This palette was inspired by mother-of-pearl and includes pink lipstick, and four eye shadows which are satin brown and purple, burnished gold and shimmering silver.
Blush Memoire de Forme in Rose Extravagant, £26
This new blush formula is described as a non-sticky “associative polymer gel with innovative elasticity”. It contains 70% of water so should feel light, smooth and hydrating on the skin.
Noir Couture, £23.50 and Ombre Couture, £18
- No5 Violet Etonnant, a purple mascara and No12 Or Insolite, metallic and sparkling eye shadow.
