Although, I think, my favourite lip balms are liquid, like this Rouge Bunny Rouge Lip Elixir which I adore, I still like a good ol’ lip balm.
But it has to be very soft and moisturizing, I hate dry and hard lip balms! When I think of a good one, Fresh Sugar comes to mind, as it is soft, as butter!
And today I want to tell you about L’Occitane’s Shea Butter Ultra Rich Lip Balm. And it is actually a nice one. I have been carrying (and using, obviously) it in my bag for several weeks now.
Luckily, my lips are in a (relatively, they are still dry) good condition now, so I can’t report on how it deals with the cracks/very dried out lips.
But I can definitely see that
First of all I apologize for the lack of reviews and swatches. I still haven’t bought a camera. I plan on getting two cameras – one a purse friendly “simple” camera, something like Nikon S3100 or S5100 and one pro camera.
For some reason I find it so hard to choose what I want/need but I promise to get it at the end of this week/beginning of next one.
I have so many new exciting products to show you so can’t wait to get a camera. Luckily, I have some photos I’ve taken before my camera was gone.
I don’t want this post to be completely off topic so here is a review of the soap which I’ve recently purchased at L’Occitane.
I think, you’ve probably noticed that these days I am trying to tell you about some beauty products that I enjoy using in winter. So today I want to tell you about the foot creams that impressed me the most. I am also going to tell you which foot cream my lovely Grandma (70) rates!
First of all I have to let you know that my feet are very dry and always seem to be in a bad condition. I am not even sure about the reason of this but I must keep them moisturized all the time!
The L’Occitane one contains shea butter, lavender essential oil and arnica extract, which makes the skin softer and it works great for tired feet! The cream is rich but not greasy; it smells really nice, too.
The Elemis one is my favourite out of these two. It is a part of
I have a new rule when it comes to beauty products, one out – one in (ok, maybe more than one in)! Meaning that I am allowed to buy new beauty products only after I finish some from those that I already have. This is why I get a bit excited when I see a new empty bottle in my bathroom.
I actually have some new items on the way to me, as I type. Can’t wait to try my them all!
I know that it’s not the end of Autumn yet, and there are still three weeks, but I have big doubts that I will finish anything else by the end of the month.
And by the way, here are Summer Empties. I’ve decided to do such features every season.
I really love bath oils, so, since I’ve used up two of my favourites Lavera Organic Wild Rose Bath Oil and Cowshed Lazy Cow Soothing Bath & Body Oil to the very last drop – I’ve already ordered some new ones, which are on their way to me.
Since I have very dry skin, I have to use body moisturizers, sometimes more than once a day, so I go through them quite quickly and this month I have finished the following products:
The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Body Butter. I think these butters don’t need any introduction and explanation, they are fantastic.
Aromatherapy Assosiates Enrich Body Serum. I never used a body serum before, and was excited to try such kind of product, as it makes sense to use serums/oils on the body before a cream just, as you would on the face. It works! Plus, as
While I am the biggest fan of rose-fragranced beauty products, my favourite flowers, scent-wise, are actually peonies. And only recently I’ve realised that I should pay a better attention to the peony-scented products out there.
Especially considering that peony season, hello Instagram, is not that long.
This is why today I wanted to share the peony themed beauty product that I am currently using and loving.
When it comes to peonies and beauty, the first range that comes to mind is
