Lush Happy Hippy Shower Gel Review

I really love zesty citrus body products, bath and shower gels, body creams etc.

This is why I had to get Happy Hippy Shower Gel by Lush. They describe it as a  “fresh grapefruit breakfast in a bottle.”

I actually like Lush shower gels, here is my review about Glogg, and this one is not an exception.

First of all I love the yellow colour of this gel, it makes me think of sunshine  and lemons! Although, it is not actually lemons (in it), it’s grapefruits. And to be more precise  pink grapefruit juice, grapefruit water  and grapefruit essential oil. Sounds cool, right?

And it actually is a great pair for my Body Shop Grapefruit body butter. Not to mention that I love grapefruit juice for breakfast!

It is said that you can

Lush Olive Brunch Shower Gel Review

Remember my post about Lush’s shower gels in which I’ve promised myself to buy The Olive Brunch and  Flying Fox?

I did get The Olive Brunch, and, in fact, already used it up. I somehow can’t find the photo I took, and since I already threw the bottle away, have to use the stock photo, so please excuse that.

Lush Olive Brunch Shower Gel Review

Lush are so right about  calling their shower gel “Mediterranean” (read sunshine & sun), that is exactly what it is!  A blend of mandarins, bergamot oil, vine leaves and Fair Trade olive oil.

Not only it smells amazing, and rather natural, especially compared to other Lush scents (which I personally love but others often find too strong) but if feels great on the skin.  It is non-drying and

Lush Products for Bath:Review and Photos

Although I made several posts about Lush already I never really shared my opinion. I also never shared my opinion about any MAC products because there are already TOO MANY reviews about these brands. But I guess it’s time to brake the rules and bring you some reviews about Lush and MAC Cosmetics (in the future).

Do you want to know what I got?

This time I’ve got only 5 products because I want to visit Lush again very soon. I’ve already made the list of what to get 😉

I got :

1. Mmm Melting Marshmallow Moment £3.50

Slow melting musky marshmallow marvel. MMM melts into a pink, fluffy waterbed of marshmallow and moisturizing cocoa butter. Each Melting Marshmallow Moment is made with marshmallow herb, which produces a sweet, skin-soothing mucilage that was used to make sugar candies for hundreds of years, and marigold, which is equally calming for your skin. Take your time, savour each moment and have as many marshmallows as you like.

2.Sex Bomb,£2.95

Jasmine, clary sage and ylang ylang to make you feel like a love goddess. The power of these aphrodisiac oils lies in their ability to relax you at the same time as warming your heart and other body parts. The ancient perfumers of the Mediterranean knew a thing or two about lurve and we’re using the methods they used thousands of years ago for the same results. Whether you want to be calm for a big night out or a quiet night in, prepare to detonate a Sex Bomb.

3.Dreamtime Bath Melt, £2.90

Skin softening, soothing and sleep-inducing melt. Guess when you should drop this luxuriously creamy block into the water? Bedtime! It may look small, but its secret strengths lie in its scent. The Dreamtime causes your worries to fade away with jasmine, lavender calms your head and sandalwood relaxes your limbs, so use it whenever you need a good night’s sleep, soft skin and sweet dreams.

4. Wee Harry, £2.95 with one eye, lol

Elf and safety warming! A warm, spicy bubble bath inspired by warm, spicy Scandinavian drinks. (And elves.) When you visit a Luh shop, you’ll notice that Wee Harry has a diffrent name, but don’t worry: he’s still the same Christmas elf. We realised that every culture has its yuletide elf named different.

5. Sea Vegetable,£2.75

A refreshing splash in the ocean. Sea Vegetable is made with seaweed, one of our favourite ingredients, with a crust of stimulating sea salt to give your body a good scrub down. It smells of lime, lavender and seaweed, a bit like sitting at the beach next to someone applying suntan lotion. This is a great soap for sharing amongst the whole household. The scent is perfectly balanced for boys and girls everywhere.

My impression and some more photos 😉

12 Favourite Beauty Products of March

So many of you asked me to do a “favourite beauty products of the month” posts that now I just have to do it lol. I already reviewed some products so I will just give the link in this case. As for the other products – I plan to review some of them later but feel free to ask questions and leave comments. Ok, here we go! 🙂

1.Dream Cream by Lush

I wrote a review this week so you can read it here

2. BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl

I got this products for £ 32.00 at zuneta. This is a lot for a highlighter you may say. But you get 50 ml and it will last you forever plus this product is SO good. I will be sure to write a detailed review. Why did I get it you may ask? Lisa Eldridge said that this is one of her favourite products ever and I was looking for a new highlighter so I had to buy it 😉 You can watch  Lisa’s video about liquid highlighters  here

3.Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser, Gentle non-foaming cleanser by La Roche-Posay

You can read about it more at the official website. This cleanser works great for my very dry and sensitive skin. When I bought it I got samples of almost all products of the brand and I really loved some of them. And what do you think about this brand?

4.BI-FACIL – Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover by Lancome

This is one of the best makeup removers that I’ve ever tried and I know that a lot of ladies love it, too.

5. OMBRES 5 LUMIÈRES 5 Colour Harmony for Eyes in #7 Bronze Gold by Yves Saint Laurent

I love everything about these shadows : design, texture, colours. The only thing that I don’t like is the price. Promise to write a review and make swatches about this palette.

6.Liquid Metal in Phenomena (silver) by Illamasqua

This product creases but it’s too beautiful so I am really in love with it. Also if you use it over the shadows everything is ok. Review and swatches here

8.Vinyl Gloss by Rimmel in Punk Princess 197 (clear with golden sparkles)

You can read more about this gloss and see the swatches here. I really like Rimmel glosses and have a few of them. But this shade was in my purse almost all the time this month.

7. Bourjois Limited Edition 2009 Vintage Blush in Amber D’or

I HAD to buy something from “Rendez-vous à Paris” by Bourjois. I am so proud that I bought only one blush although I had a big temptation to buy everything. Yes, I am addicted to pretty things.  These are the same products that you can get from the brand but with an amazing design.

8.Vinyl Gloss by Rimmel in Punk Princess 197 (clear with golden sparkles)

You can

Lush Shower Gels: Rose Jam, Prince Charming, Happy Hippy, Glogg and Grass

This weekend I’ve re-organized products in my bathroom and made a list of the  things that I need to pick up, mostly new shower gels and body creams, as I use those up rather quickly. I have noticed that I have five Lush shower gels, so decided to make a lill’ round up.

Lush Shower Gels Rose Jam, Prince Charming, Happy Hippy, Glogg and Grass

Lush Rose Jam Shower Gel (review)

This is my favourite one. While some people may find it too sweet and sugary, I am a huge fan, it smells just like rose jam and feels lovely on the skin, not drying at all.

Lush Glogg Shower Gel (review)

The other seasonal, LE one, which I really love, it is spicy and warm,  exactly what you need during the AW season.
