Make Up For Ever Collection for Spring 2010 Inspired by Gustav Klimt

It looks like that every collection of  Make Up For Ever is deducated to a specific colour. It was “purple” collection Ultra Violet for Fall and “blue” collection Blue Rhapsody for Holiday and now it is “golden” collection!

Dany Sanz was inpired by Gustav Klimt to create this collection! I’ve mentioned several times that I’ve studied culture and arts so  I really love this idea. Klimt is among my favourite artists plus I am always excited when the art of makeup is connected with other forms of Art. I hope that this is not the last collection inspired by an artist!

It seems to me that Dany was inspired by this painting ( it is not a fact, just my thoughts)

And here are the products from the collection

Thought I would  share about some new  lipsticks that just launched recently. We all love lipsticks, don’t we?! And since all three are completely different, there is something for every girl 😉

Dolce & Gabbana Passion Duo Gloss Fusion Lipstick (£24)

It is said that this lipsticks offers a rich and creamy colour with a burst of gloss. It is basically a cream colour and gloss duo in one tube. I assume it should be moitruzing and creamy.

The shades are: Darling, Rose, Impact, Incognito, Infatuat, Poetic, Dynamic, Satin, Sensation, Delight, Iridescent, Intrigue, Devotion, Imperial, Desirable,  Sahara, Truffle, Intense,  Dazzle, Magic.

By the way, if you are a fan of Dolce & Gabbana makeup range, you should know that they’ve just launched a new foundation called Creamy Foundation SPF15 Classic (£34.00)

You can get both products  at Harrods.

Tutorial: Black Glossy Eyes and Nude Lips

Some of  you asked to share my makeup work with you, so here is one of the looks that I really like! It was supposed to be  cat eyes and red lips but I have no idea what happened with me. I just started packing the black eye shadows on. I guess I was thinking about this look by Rouge Bunny Rouge.

But obviously it’s not so dramatic and more wearable, although I know that most of you probably won’t wear anything like this out so it is still a more editorial/fun look.

My friend is super gorgeous so it was fun making her up.

So here are the products that I’ve used on her:

Face:

  • Make Up For Ever  HD Primer
  • Max Factor Foundation in Creamy Ivory, read my review here.
  • Revlon ColorStay Concealer in Light, great affordable concealer, will write a review about it soon.
  • BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl, this is my #1 highlighter, I’ve been promising you a review for ages now, I am sorry, will change it!
