Eclats du Soir de Chanel has to be my favourite Chanel makeup collection of this year. It is actually Peter Philips’ reinterpretation of the “rouge noir” which he enriched with gold and bronze to make it festive.
The lipstick and the nail polish look fantastic!
The products from the collection are:
REGARD SIGNĒ DE CHANEL (£43) Harmonie du Soir, deep golden bronze, a plum red, smoky taupe and pink.
OMBRES CONTRASTES DUO (£30) Nuit-Claire, black/ iridescent beige
ILLUSION D’OMBRE (£23) Apparence, shimmering bronzed gold
STYLO YEUX WATERPROOF (£19) Grenat
JOUES CONTRASTE (£31) Star Dust, pink with iridescent gold
POUDRE UNIVERSELLE LIBRE (£34) Rêverie, radiant beige with
Jo Malone is always a great option for Christmas gifts, this year is not an exception!
The brand has to offer some Limited Edition sets and some typical holiday scents. Let’s take a look.

I would definitely get it (I already have such set from 2010) but as I already have three scents out of two, I’ll probably pass this time.
You get the following colognes: Lime Basil and Mandarin, Pomegranate Noir, Nectarine Blossom and Honey, Amber and Lavender and Blackberry and Bay.
The World of Jo Malone Collection, $165

For the Christmas 2012 makeup collection Armani takes inspiration in the various nuances of cold winter days, especially in the moonlight which brings out translucent reflections.
There are four products in the collection and am I personally very interested in one of them which is LIP MAESTRO Colour Zero, Instant lip enhancer (£25)
This is basically a top coat which mattifies other lip products or can be used directly on the lips. It is promised that the colour will still look luminous and the lips will stay hydrated.
All-in-one White Night Palette (£60)
Two (LE) palettes that come in a black lacquer case which include: Frosty Highlighter, two eye shadows and a matte lipstick.
Moonlight Beige Palette: Beige shimmer powder, two taupe eye shadows and Beige lip wax.
Moonlight White Palette: Snow-like
I think you can’t really go wrong with Elemis products. Their holiday sets = great way to try the brand without spending a fortune.
As usual, there is a great selection of sets to choose from and I personally would like to get the Princess of Spa Set £49.50/$95 as it contains my favourite ever hand cream, Pro-Radiance Hand and Nail Cream 100ml, and Skin Nourishing Milk Bath 400ml. As for Quiet Mind Relaxing Bath Elixir 300ml, it sounds like a product that I would love a lot, too.
There are a lot of other sets, here are six of them which caught my attention. But these are not all of them, there are other variants to choose from!
Elemis Bath & Body Jewels Bodycare Essentials Set( £29.50): Quiet Mind Relaxing Bath Elixir 100ml, Skin Nourishing Shower Cream 100ml, Revitalise-Me Shower Gel 100ml, Tranquil Touch Indulgent Bath Elixir 100ml, Tranquil Touch Body Cream 50ml, Skin Nourishing Body Lotion 50ml
King of Skin Collection (£25): Time For Men Ice Cool Foaming Shave Gel 200ml, Time For Men Daily Moisture Boost 20ml, [email protected] Sharp Shower and Bath Gel 100ml
Duchess of Spa Exotic Bodycare Set (£49.50): Frangipani
Here is the list of top three super
expensive luxurious beauty gifts for this holiday season. I don’t think I could ever buy any of those, so this is purely for “entertainment”, at least for me.
Shu Uemura Karl Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura Ruby Eyelashes , £900
Yes, they have real rubies on them…
There is also a Tom Ford Vanity Case, £1,000.00. Looks properly luxurious but not sure that
