This season YSL’s Summer Escape, inspired by the boundless freedom and adventure that is promised from a journey through the desert, is a well edited collection with the expected blue and gold shades, along with pink glosses for the lips.
Here is a little video starring Cara Delevigne.
The products are:
Couture Palette Collector Savage Escape ($60)
The palette of shimmering golden brows, blues and a warm pink highlighter. It comes in a sun-bleached blue suede which is contrasted by a stylized rose gold signature.
Full Metal Shadows ($30) in 11 Bonnie Copper and 12 Blue Clyde.
Pigmented metallic eye shadows with a 40% water which gives that cooling effect.
Gloss Volupte, $32 in
This time the new products for face, lips and eyes are budget friendly with H & M, Soap & Glory and Maybelline latest releases.
Maybelline Master Contour V-Shape, £6.99 from Boots
“The clever “v” shaped, dual-sided applicator boasts a cream-matte contour and highlighter that effortlessly blend into skin.” I am loving the Maybelline powder contour and highlighter duo, and this one looks like a nice addition.
Available in 2 shades: Light and Medium

Back in the days, Urban Decay eye shadow palettes were a big deal in the beauty world. I remember how I used to buy every single Book Of Shadows. Even though I don’t even use them now, I could never give them away. I still have my Alice Book Of Shadows somewhere among my other “treasures”.
I am sure, you know that the brand brought out a new Alice Through the Looking Glass palette to celebrate the launch of a new film which I am definitely seeing when it is in the theatres.
If that is something you are interested in – I suggest you get it as soon as possible, as it will be a sell out. The palette is available from Selfridges for £43 and Ulta for $60 already and is all kinds of gorgeous with a very colourful design
