Malin + Goetz Essential Kit Review and Photos

I have got this Malin + Goetz set at Zuneta for £20 as  for myself as a Christmas gift. But it looks like that the kit is no longer available. But I am still going to let you know my impression as you can always get each product on its own.

I just love getting different kits with mini products as it’s a great way to try the brand without braking the bank.

So what do you get?

  • Grapefruit Face Cleanser (full size 236 ml – £ 25)
  • Vitamin E Face Moisturiser (full size 118 ml – £ 36)
  • Vitamin B5 Body Moisturiser (full size 236 ml – £28)
  • Bergamot Body Wash (full size 236 ml – £ 15.50)
  • Cilantro Hair Conditioner (full size 236 ml – £16.50)
  • Peppermint Shampoo (full size 236 ml – £ 16)

First of all I have to say that I absolutely love the design, I think it’s brilliant. And this kit was very useful when I was travelling.

Hair Products

I absolutely loved the shampoo and I would probably re-purchase it although I find that it is very expensive (236 ml – £ 16  and 473 ml for £ 30). I adore the fresh mint scent and it reminds me of mint sweets that I love. I find that it is very refreshing for summer and this shampoo is just a pleasure to use.

As for the hair conditioner – I really dislike cilantro which  is also known as coriander so I can’t say that I’ve enjoyed using this conditioner as it has a strong scent of coriander. I’d rather put a conditioner with other scent, really.

LUSH Rub Rub Rub and Glögg Review and Photos

I haven’t been to LUSH in some time so I’ve decided to go and get something as a part of my Birthday treat. I’ve picked up one Christmas set with a big discount (obviously) and Rub Rub Rub.

I haven’t tried  the Northern Lights soap yet but I’ve used other products several times already and want to share my opinion.

Rub Rub Rub

I personally really loved this scrub as it is such a multi-purpose product. You can use it as a scrub on a dry body, mixed with water as a scrubbing shower gel for a more gentle effect or as… shampoo!

Although it does say that you can use it on your hair I don’t think I would ever do it unless a recommendation from a friend. And, wow, I was actually really impressed with the results.

Actually when I’ve asked a lady at LUSH for her favourite product – she pointed at Rub Rub Rub. And it is lovely. Leaves the body soft and clean when used as a scrub and leaves the hair shiny and light when used as a shampoo.

The only minus is that it won’t last you for a very long time. I am through half of the bottle in less than a month. I will definitely re-purchase this product at some point.

Do you have a  Lush scrub recommendations?

Glögg

This is actually a seasonal shower gel but

Soap & Glory Whipped Clean Shower Butter Review. Rave

I definitely did not need another shower gel but Soap & Glory  Whipped Clean Shower Butter got my attention, and I wanted to try it. I’ve actually picked it up without even smelling it, as I wanted it to be a surprise. I’ve bought it, as it sounded like a nice product for dry skin…

So what was my impression?

Soap & Glory Whipped Clean Shower Butter Review

At first I was not a big fan of the scent but now I am addicted, and I mean it.  It smells of almonds, pistachios and vanilla, intoxicating and sweet. I totally get the warning “This is not food” on the tube. Maybe it is not the best product for those on a diet as it will probably make you crave a dessert.

Besides the scent, I also like the

The Scottish Fine Soaps Company Argan Oil Soap Review

A great thing about having your own website is the fact that you can write whatever and  whenever you want. So today’s feature is inspired by my girlfriends. The thing is that I have been telling some of them how much I love this soap, so I would like to share with my readers and fellow beauty lovers, too.

A soap, really? Yes! I personally think that The Scottish Fine Soaps are fantastic. The thing is that it almost feels like a cream, not a soap, so silky and smooth. Although, I use a body cream afterwards all the time, if your skin is not as dry as mine, most likely

Aesop Body Cleanser And Aromatique Hand Balm

First of all, I apologise for a long absence. It was mainly due to the fact that someone (we all know that “someone” is not the word I want to use here) stole my Twitter account. And, while I did contact Twitter as soon, as I saw that, it was dragging on for ages, and instead of giving it back to me, it was blocked in the end.

Can’t believe I’ve spent 12 years of my life building and sustaining my account with such an outcome.  This was the most appalling customer support I have ever experienced.  The whole situation made me so angry that I had no desire to even update the website and had to take some time off. But let’s leave it at that. Life goes on…

By the way, you can follow me on Instagram for more regular updates.

Today I want to share about the products from a brand which doesn’t need an introduction. And that is Aesop! I have two products here which I wanted to talk about.

Why these two products in one post you may ask? What unites them is their unique scent.

AESOP Coriander Seed Body Cleanser (500ml ), £33

I love how the brand describes the fragrance as “unorthodox”, and it really is. Coriander is such a love or hate herb so it depends on your preferences.

Aesop combined coriander with black pepper and patchouli so you get that woody and spicy scent which is truly invigorating and refreshing.  As I’ve already said, it has that truly one-of-a-kind aroma to it. The scent fills the bathroom and makes you feel great. And this is exactly what we all want.

You can use it
