Another week, another shampoo review? Looks like that!
Today I want to show you Cowshed’s Cowlick Gentle Shampoo. I have picked up mine ages ago, back in September, I think, or even earlier and am already done with it.
This is actually a Sulphates (SLS, SLES, chemical which helps the product to foam) free shampoo, Cowshed use soapwort instead, but I did not even notice that when was getting it. I just needed a new shampoo and decided to try this one.
Unfortunately, Cowlick did not work that well for my hair. I am not sure what is the reason for that but I wasn’t very happy with the way it (hair) looked afterwards, wasn’t so smooth and shiny, as I’d like it to be. Plus I had to wash it earlier than I would like…
The things that I did love were the
In this day and age, when we have such an overwhelming amount of products to choose from, I personally love knowing the story behind the brand, something about the founders and the values of the company.
This is why I was very interested in the R+CO after I’ve listened to the Fat Mascara podcast with Garren, one of the co-founders. Obviously, I knew who he was but it was incredible to listen to such a great interview. I would encourage you to listen,as well. But, in a nutshell, R+Co was founded by three renowned hair stylists, so it was obvious that the range would be out-of-this-world-amazing.
I’ve decided to start with Dallas Thickening Shampoo. But as I was writing this feature, it came to my attention that it is now Dallas Biotin Thickening Shampoo. Not sure if it is still the exact same shampoo.
Spoiler alert! I absolutely love everything about this shampoo.
The quirky packaging. All R+Co products have cool and outstanding design.
The scent. It is to die for. I mean it. They have this Dark Waves fragrance (which you can also buy as a hair perfume) which
Long story short – L’Oreal Professionnel Sensi Balance Shampoo is one of the best shampoos I have ever used.
Want to find out why? Then keep on reading.
First things first, I love the changes that L’Oreal Professionnel made in the shampoos line recently. I love this beautiful clear blue packaging, and the scent is very lovely. Like, I literally am a big fan.
The product was developed for dry and irritated scalp. Sorbitol is the ingredient that is used for soothing the scalp, and while I did not have any major issues, I did find that
I am a huge fan of Kerastase products, and have re-purchased their shampoos many times over the years. I think my favourite has to be a relatively recent addition to the line, which is Densifique.
But today I want to tell you about Kérastase Cristalliste Bain Cristal Cheveux Fins Luminous Perfecting Shampoo for Fine Hair.
According to the brand “Roots are left pure and weightless. Ends are smooth and polished. Hair is perfectly clean, luminous and weightless. ”
And I would actually agree with those statements. After using this shampoo you are
I have got this Malin + Goetz set at Zuneta for £20 as for myself as a Christmas gift. But it looks like that the kit is no longer available. But I am still going to let you know my impression as you can always get each product on its own.
I just love getting different kits with mini products as it’s a great way to try the brand without braking the bank.
So what do you get?
- Grapefruit Face Cleanser (full size 236 ml – £ 25)
- Vitamin E Face Moisturiser (full size 118 ml – £ 36)
- Vitamin B5 Body Moisturiser (full size 236 ml – £28)
- Bergamot Body Wash (full size 236 ml – £ 15.50)
- Cilantro Hair Conditioner (full size 236 ml – £16.50)
- Peppermint Shampoo (full size 236 ml – £ 16)
First of all I have to say that I absolutely love the design, I think it’s brilliant. And this kit was very useful when I was travelling.
I absolutely loved the shampoo and I would probably re-purchase it although I find that it is very expensive (236 ml – £ 16 and 473 ml for £ 30). I adore the fresh mint scent and it reminds me of mint sweets that I love. I find that it is very refreshing for summer and this shampoo is just a pleasure to use.
As for the hair conditioner – I really dislike cilantro which is also known as coriander so I can’t say that I’ve enjoyed using this conditioner as it has a strong scent of coriander. I’d rather put a conditioner with other scent, really.
The face wash is
