I have got this Malin + Goetz set at Zuneta for £20 as for myself as a Christmas gift. But it looks like that the kit is no longer available. But I am still going to let you know my impression as you can always get each product on its own.
I just love getting different kits with mini products as it’s a great way to try the brand without braking the bank.
So what do you get?
- Grapefruit Face Cleanser (full size 236 ml – £ 25)
- Vitamin E Face Moisturiser (full size 118 ml – £ 36)
- Vitamin B5 Body Moisturiser (full size 236 ml – £28)
- Bergamot Body Wash (full size 236 ml – £ 15.50)
- Cilantro Hair Conditioner (full size 236 ml – £16.50)
- Peppermint Shampoo (full size 236 ml – £ 16)
First of all I have to say that I absolutely love the design, I think it’s brilliant. And this kit was very useful when I was travelling.
I absolutely loved the shampoo and I would probably re-purchase it although I find that it is very expensive (236 ml – £ 16 and 473 ml for £ 30). I adore the fresh mint scent and it reminds me of mint sweets that I love. I find that it is very refreshing for summer and this shampoo is just a pleasure to use.
As for the hair conditioner – I really dislike cilantro which is also known as coriander so I can’t say that I’ve enjoyed using this conditioner as it has a strong scent of coriander. I’d rather put a conditioner with other scent, really.
The face wash is
So many people who’s opinion I trust were raving about this shampoo. BBB even named this a shampoo of the year. Of course I was curious and had to buy one to give it a try.
So what about my impression?
It was much better later so I am happy that I did not give it up immediately. In my opinion it’s a nice shampoo, it washes the hair nicely. The hair looks nice after it and is not greasy for at least two days. I also like the nice scent of Aqua Light.
For the price it’s definitely a good product although not the best shampoo that I’ve tried obviously. And, yes, I think I would buy other products from the line to try them.
And have you tried it? Do you love it? Do you think there is a huge difference in cheap and expensive shampoos?
Father’s Day is just around the corner but what is even more important to me; it’s my Father’s birthday tomorrow.
Both events inspired me to write this post. This is not really a Father’s Day gift guide as almost all the on-line shops have one, this is just a post about favourite grooming products of my men. By my men I mean my father, male friend and my younger brother.
So a must have for my Dad is Vichy Capital Soleil Homme Body Spray with SPF30.
It is his second bottle actually. My Dad is not really a sun protection fan, he just has sun allergy so he must use a sun protection. I have big doubts he would bother if allergy was not the case. He tried a lot of sun protection products from Bioderma to La Roche-Posay and he says that this one is his favourite because it’s clear and not sticky so that he can use it on the go. Plus it’s a spray so it’s very easy to use.
Who knows, maybe you can convince your man to use a sun protection with a help of this product.
My friend loves his L’Oreal Professionnel shampoos.
There is a small but important detail that I should mention
If you read the blog for some time now you may remember this post about the hair care products. And you may remember my attitude towards the mayonnaise on hair, shampoo for horses and other things like that. I know that it works for a lot of people but I had no desire at all to try anything like that.
But when I got a travel version (60ml) of Mane ‘n Tail shampoo with my last zuneta order I gave up and decided to try the shampoo that was originally designed for horses but was reformulated for humans use.
This is what is written about it: “an exclusive original formula that contains high lathering cleansing agents fortified with moisturisers and emollients. The micro-enriched protein formula provides “down to the skin” cleansing action and conditioning, leaving the hair soft and shiny.”
So anyway, here is my impression.
I love the Volume Expand serie in general so it was obvious that I would love this shampoo.
This is how it is described:
“L’Oreal Professional Serie Expert Volume Expand Shampoo is specially formulated with mineral calcium to give your fine hair added body and bounce for enhanced volume. This shampoo boosts your hair’s volume from the roots and transforms fine fly away hair into full beautiful soft, shiny hair.”
This is probably the thickest shampoo that I’ve ever tried so be sure that you mix it with some water before using. It smells like citrus to me and it’s a pleasure to use it. I don’t know how they do it but this shampoo
