BM Beauty Cosmetics Line Review and Swatches

I have several products from a cruelty free BUAV approved  cosmetics line called BM Beauty to show you. You can read all the details about the brand, products and ideas behind them on the brand’s website.

On the photo below you can see: Mineral Lip Gloss  in Nude, Mineral Eye Shadows in Marble Sparkle  and Wolf Howl, Eyeshadow Brush 123 and Mineral Foundation in Naked.

I was actually surprised at how much I loved the line.  I like the affordable prices and the fact that there are not that many products so that you don’t get overwhelmed.

Out of the  five products that I have I loved the eye brush and the lip gloss the best so I will start my review with those products.

Eyeshadow Brush 123 (£8)

This is just a brilliant brush. I’ve actually added it to my personal brush collection and I use it a lot.

It  is an ‘oval shaped brush with densely packed, super soft fibres’. I love using it for the crease and for the blending the eye shadows on the lower lash line. I like it more that MAC Pencil Brush (219) for a more precise work but would not compare it to MAC Blending Brush (217) as 217 is bigger and fluffier so is better for blending.

MAC 217, BM Beauty, MAC 219

BM Beauty 123 Brush is pretty firm so it gives you a lot of control. And it is only £8!  Brush length in total 150mm. Handle length 135mm. Bristle length 15mm. I am very impressed.

Mineral Lip Gloss in Nude (£12)

I have never tried a mineral lip gloss before so I have nothing to compare it with. However, I am really impressed with the BM Beauty one as I don’t own anything similar.

The formula is non sticky and  moisturizing, the colour is beautiful – it is a perfect nude which  gives a nice coverage. It’s the finish that I find interesting, it is glossy and

Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation Review and Swatches

Hourglass is a luxury and innovative beauty brand and today I want to tell you about their Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation, which is pretty genius.

First of all, I love the gorgeous silver design, very high-end. You get what you pay for, in my opinion.

But what about the foundation itself? Since I have very dry skin, I don’t use it on myself, but used it on quite a few people, including brides, so I am sharing mostly their impressions and the visible effects that I could see.

It  gives a velvet matte finish but doesn’t look like a mask, although blush, highlighter and some contouring is a must – to give your face some structure aftrerwards.

It gives a medium-to-full coverage and

Buxom Show Some Skin Weightless Foundation Review and Swatches. Rave

As you already know, there are tonnes of new foundations coming out our way for AW season, so I thought I’d share about my personal new love, base-wise. Buxom Show Some Skin Weightless Foundation.

I’ve got a sample with a Sephora purchase several months ago, and totally forgot about it, until recently when I threw in some samples to try while I was visiting my family.

Before I start, I have to mention that now I have a tan (plus fake tan on top to make my skin even more “sun kissed”),  and I really love experimenting with my makeup, as I can now wear different shades and colours, which usually don’t suit my skin tone.

The shade that I have is the fifth (out of ten) in the line which is Meet Me Latte ( described as “neutral beige for medium skin tones”) which is still a bit dark for me but I can make it work.

Buxom Show Some Skin Weightless Foundation ReviewNow, the foundation is absolutely amazing! As the name suggests, it is weightless, I don’t feel it on the face, at all. It is like a hydrating tinted moisturizer.  I also like that it lasts all day on me, doesn’t melt or look greasy, and I have tested it in very hot climate. But please keep in mind that I have very dry skin.

My second favourite thing is the fact that you get some serious glow! It is not shiny or glittery, but just a

Rouge Bunny Rouge Tinted Moisturiser Sketches on Water Review and Swatches of All Shades

Summer is here so it’s time for a light coverage  foundation or, even better, tinted moisturizer. This is why I think it’s a perfect time to tell you about the Rouge Bunny Rouge’s Tinted Moisturiser Sketches on Water (£46).

It comes in three shades and I had a sample of each shade which was enough to properly try the product and swatch the shades for you.

The shades that available are:

  • ADANSONIA, Transparent wash of pale milky beige
  • SEQUOIA, Transparent wash of pinkish beige
  •  QUERCUS, Transparent wash of warm tawny mid-beige

Here is how they look like. I should have taken a photo earlier as there is hardly anything left and the product is a bit dried out (I’ve had it for months) but you can still see how each shade looks like which  is the most important thing here.

As you can imagine, this TM would

Dr. Brandt Flexitone BB Cream Review

Self-Adjusting Flawless Coverage, Anti-Aging, Brightening SPF 30 PA+++

I’ve got a sample of Dr. Brandt’s Flexitone BB Cream some time ago with one of my online orders. And decided to give it a try last week…

Dr Brandt Flexitone BB Cream Self-Adjusting Flawless Coverage

When I opened it I was disappointed to see how dark it was and was sure that it wouldn’t suit me; but decided to try it anyway. I was actually very surprised to see that several minutes later it adapted to my skintone and left me with an even, flawless and glowing complexion. The thing is that I did not read that it was a “Self-Adjusting ” product. That is why I did not expect that to happen.

The texture feels
