Today I want to tell you about a special product that I have included in my November favourites, and have been loving for months already. It is BECCA’s Luminous Skin Colour Ultra-Sheer Foundation SPF 25+.
The name is very spot- on! You get a very light coverage, dewy foundation. Imagine if you would mix your serum or moisturizer with a bit of your regular foundation, now you get the idea.
I personally prefer a light coverage on my face, and more coverage where I need it, instead of full-on (often heavy, and sometimes even mask-like foundation) all over. And with this product you get exactly that – it is light-as-air.
Although it can cover only minor imperfections, it is actually fantastic! You get a polished, healthy looking and more even complexion! Just add some under-eye highlighter/concealer and dots of concealer where you need to hide any imperfections on your face, and you will get a very natural-looking result!
It looks just like your skin, but
Clarins Extra-Comfort Foundation (£35 for 30 ml) comes in a glass jar which is very chic and luxurious to look at, but not very practical (especially when you are in a hurry) in so many ways. But that is the only thing that’s not my favourite in this foundation, everything else I adore.
“Anti-Ageing, Replenishes, Illuminates.” This is how the brand describes the product, and I would agree.
I have dry skin, and I love everything [yes, I do realize that I’ve already said that] about this foundation, it is so good! I don’t even know where to start…
The Illuminating claims? It delivers! I was sick at home for a week and this foundation instantly (yes, the name speaks for itself) transformed my skin from dull into a glowing and polished version (of course, with the help of the right skincare). Seriously, I was
Hourglass is a luxury and innovative beauty brand and today I want to tell you about their Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation, which is pretty genius.
First of all, I love the gorgeous silver design, very high-end. You get what you pay for, in my opinion.
But what about the foundation itself? Since I have very dry skin, I don’t use it on myself, but used it on quite a few people, including brides, so I am sharing mostly their impressions and the visible effects that I could see.
It gives a velvet matte finish but doesn’t look like a mask, although blush, highlighter and some contouring is a must – to give your face some structure aftrerwards.
It gives a medium-to-full coverage and
Self-Adjusting Flawless Coverage, Anti-Aging, Brightening SPF 30 PA+++
I’ve got a sample of Dr. Brandt’s Flexitone BB Cream some time ago with one of my online orders. And decided to give it a try last week…
When I opened it I was disappointed to see how dark it was and was sure that it wouldn’t suit me; but decided to try it anyway. I was actually very surprised to see that several minutes later it adapted to my skintone and left me with an even, flawless and glowing complexion. The thing is that I did not read that it was a “Self-Adjusting ” product. That is why I did not expect that to happen.
The texture feels
Clarins BB Skin Perfecting Cream SPF 25 comes in a sleek red tube and there are three shades to choose from, and I was given the lightest one to try out.
My only problem is that it is too dark for me but it will be “solved” once I get some tan. I can get away with wearing this shade actually when I buff it in nicely and blend it down the neck and ears, too. It is not orangey or muddy, so it just warms up my complexion and gives it some nice warm tint.
But I am not sure why Clarins did not bring out a lighter shade…
As for the texture, it feels nice on the skin, it is lightweight and blends in nicely. I find that it evens out the skin tone but it doesn’t cover all the imperfections, as the coverage is light-to-medium, so you
