7 Coral Nail Polishes for Spring 2010 & NOTD

I’ve already made a post about the coral lip products that I like and I promised you to write a post about the  nail varnishes in coral that I like and that I would like to get.

  1. Illamasqua Lament £13, Bright coral pink, glossy finish. I am going to order it this week. I already have the Rude blush (you can read about it here) and Over lipstick and this nail varnish would look perfect with them!
  2. China Glaze Peachy Keen (swatch)
  3. Essie Tart Deco
  4. Orly Cotton Candy
  5. Barielle Blossom
  6. Barry M Coral  It is not the coral that I would like to get but I’ve never tried Barry M nail paints so I would like to try it.

And what coral nail polishes are you getting for yourself this Spring? Any other colours you like? I have to say that I don’t have any coral nail polishes and this is the closest colour that I was able to find in my humble collection

Nails Of The Day: Guerlain Nail Lacquer in 04 Lou-Ling

I am a huge fan of berry and plum nail polishes, especially for Autumn/Winter period, they look very sophisticated and  chic. I have actually never tried Guerlain nail lacquers  (£18 / €23) before, so was excited to start with Lou-Ling from their Christmas collection, as it is a beautiful shade.

It is a gorgeous glossy plum with very subtle micro shimmer which is only visible under the certain light or with a certain flash.

Lou-Ling has a nice formula which goes on smoothly and  looks opaque with only one coat. But I do wear two coats on the picture above.  The brush is thinner than I personally like but since it’s  not very not long, it gives you a good control.

This is a wonderful classic nail colour, and I would definitely recommend it to everyone who loves luxury brands. It would make a  great present, too.

Beauty Inspiration: Almond Shaped Nails

One of my favourite things about beauty is the ability to change your routine according to your mood and preferences. Some time ago I’ve posted about the different nails shape and length I’ve had during the years, and today I want to share about my current obsession which is long almond-shaped manicure.

Makeup4all Nails Of The day red and crimson

I am not entirely sure where this came from but several weeks ago, I’ve  decided that  I want my nails to look this way, I was even considering stiletto [shape] but that is not very practical in real life.

So here is just a picture of the latest two manicures I’ve had this month. The red

Nails Of The Day: Essence Blue Addicted

Here is what I have been wearing this (and last) week: Dior Grege for pedicure and Essence Blue Addicted for manicure.

I have been wearing Essence Blue Addicted for almost a week actually.  Turns out that it is a dupe for Deborah Lippmann’s Across the Universe! I did not know that and just got this shade (and several more) simply because I loved it.

I haven’t tried any DL glitter nail polishes but I can give you my opinion about this one which is a bit mixed..

It takes several coats for the nail polish to get opaque.  On the photo I am wearing
