My Manicure Must Haves: Seche Vite and Seche Clear

These days I wear nail polish almost every day, so for me it’s important to have a nice base and top coats. I have already written  about Seche Vite which I absolutely adore as it helps the nail polish to dry really fast and gives a beautiful glossy shine.

As for the Seche Clear, it helps to protect my nails from staining and to make the application smoother and easier. It dries very quickly so you don’t have to wait forever for all the coats to get dry.

I also like to believe that it makes my manicure to last longer. I also wear it on it’s own sometimes.

Anyway, this is my perfect combo for a beautiful manicure. This is my second bottle of Seche Vite and I am sure that I will re-purchase Seche Clear as well.

I also love my Burt’s Bees  lemon butter cuticle cream and use it a lot. And what about you? What are your manicure essentials?

Nails Of The Day: Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Polish in 260 Funtime Fuchsia

After I got the Rimmel 60 Second Green With Envy nail polish and loved it, I’ve decided to get some more shades, so the first one that I’ve picked was this amazing nail polish in 260 Funtime Fuchsia.

I love the wide brush which makes the application easy and fast.  This colour looks beautiful and shiny with two coats and stays on without chipping for three days.

Funtime Fuchsia is  a gorgeous nail polish for  Spring/Summer and I am sure that I will enjoy wearing it in the future.

Nails Of The Day: Marc Jacobs Nail Enamored Hi-Shine Nail Lacquer in Lola

Regular readers know that I am a huge fan of red nail polishes, and I am actually very picky, there are not that many that I truly like. My favourite is actually Revlon’s Red, it is a bright true red, not dull, but not neon, not warm toned, but not too cool – it’s a timeless classic.

But I’ve managed to find another red which I love as much, as Revlon. It is Marc Jacob’s Nail Enamored Hi-Shine Nail Lacquer in Lola. You can see  it, freshly applied, here.

But on the photo below is  manicure with Lola after a week, that’s why it doesn’t look i’t best! It is with a top coat, since without it the nail polish doesn’t last for the whole week. But still impressive, right? There are very few nail polishes that last that well on me.

I love this nail polish so much that I would talk about it with everyone who would listen, ha!

  • Look at that design! It’s the coolest nail polish bottle I’ve ever seen. When I saw the promo photos for the first time – I knew that it had to be mine.

Nails of the Day: OPI Baby It’s Coal Outside

Today I am wearing  Baby It’s Coal Outside by OPI which is a part of Toyland Collection (Holiday  2008).

And I have to say that this is one of my favourite nail polishes. Looks like it was created just for me. It is very dark, almost black with beautiful silver shimmer.

It gives an opaque coverage with 2 coats and it last for a whole week. Yes, all OPI nail polishes that I’ve tried  look perfect (and I mean it) at least 5 days.

You just have to apply OPI nail polish the right way or you can get a manicure in the salon.

And yes, I do love Parisienne. A lot!
