Best Berry Lip Products: Glosses, Lipsticks and Stains
It is probably too early to write about berry lip products but, for some reason, I have been talking (with my girlfriends) about such shades quite a lot recently.
This is why I’ve decided to pick some of my favourites from those that I have with different finishes and price point, so there is something for everyone.
So here we go…
Clarins Joli Rouge Lipstick in 738 Royal Plum
I have written about this lipstick only recently. It is a part of the upcoming Clarins’ Fall collection. It is a gorgeous plum shade with a satin finish. Not very intense but not sheer at all, just spot on!
butter LONDON Lippy in La Moss
I absolutely love the name and the vampy shade of this gloss, so sexy! Just keep in mind that the application can be a bit tricky, it takes time to get an even coverage. But it’s so worth it! Dark vinyl lips, perfect for those who are not afraid to go for it.
ArtDeco Lip Laquer 40 Rosy Tribute
This is a lighter in shade and
butter LONDON Colour Clash Nail Polish Collection for the Autumn Winter 2013
Usually when you think about Autumn collections, dark blue, burgundy, brown and similar shades come to mind.
This is why it was unexpected to see such a joyful and colourful collection for AW from butter LONDON. But I guess, it makes sense, since we those collections are put in July anyway.
So let’s take a look:
- Cake-Hole, an opaque, nearly neon pink crème nail lacquer. A pink so bright, it can’t be wrong!
- Cotton Buds, an opaque, pure white crème. Wear under your lacquer to make colours pop!
- Giddy Kipper, opaque, indigo
New Beauty Launches: Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Gucci and butter LONDON
More fashion houses and designers are launching their beauty lines… So here is a preview of what is coming our way.
First of all, there is a super glam line from Michael Kors with golden design and luxury bronzing products, among other things. His line is created in collaboration with Estee Lauder Cosmetics.
There is a also a beauty range from Marc Jacobs and I actually like the design of the packaging, it looks simple yet
Nude Nail Polishes: Dior, Ciate, butter LONDON, Yves Rocher, Rimmel and MeMeMe
For someone who is not exactly into “nude” nail polishes, I have quite a few. I have chosen seven which could fit the nude/taupe/brown-ish category.
So what shades do I have? And which is my favourite?
Dior Vernis in Grege
I love the wide and thin brush which makes the application super easy and fast. It is a beautiful warm shade which suits me when I get some tan. But if you have a light-to-medium warm skin tone – this may be a perfect nude for you. See it applied on the nails.
MeMeMe Long Lasting Gloss in Alluring
This is one of the darkest nail polishes from the selection, and should be a nice nude for people with darker skin. Or if you want a brown nail polish against the light skin. The quality is nice for the price, too. Swatches.
Yves Rocher Nail Polish in Taupe
This is definitely not a nude, but a taupe. Such shade was super popular several years ago and I can totally see why: it goes well with pretty much everything and doesn’t compete with your outfit or accessories. Manicure with it.
MeMeMe Long Lasting Gloss in Ambitious
It looks like that
butter LONDON Bespoke Nail Polish Collection for Summer 2013
Here is a preview of butter LONDON’s summer 2013 nail polish collection which includes six shades: one creme, four metallics and one glitter.
Bit Faker, a full coverage bronze glitter that was inspired by the tan from a can.
