Clarins Christmas 2012 makeup collection called Odyssey was inspired by the Greek Gods. This collection includes two gorgeous compacts with a beautiful logo on top which, according to the brand, evokes the magnificence of Ancient Greece.
I am personally a die-hard of of anything inspired by a certain culture, so I love it, of course! Well done, Clarins. I vote for Scandinavia and Latin America to be next 😉
Clarins suggests going for a luminous complexion, coppery eyes and warm toned brown lips for AW season.
So let’s tale a look at the palettes.
Odyssey Face Palette (£35)
This compact should work for all skin tones and should ‘enhance the complexion for a beautiful, more even skin tone. The Light-Optimizing+ Complex reduces the appearance of wrinkles and imperfections leaving skin looking even and radiant.’
Odyssey Eye Quartet Mineral Palette (£30)
Brown, beige and taupe-bronze can be blended or layered as desired, the gold leaf highlighter adds a touch of luminosity.
The powder is very beautiful, real eye candy. As for the eye shadows, I like the cool browns but am mostly interested to see how that golden shade looks like in real life.
This collection will be available in October 2012
Ahhhhhh……being Greek, you just know that I MUST have these when they launch, right?! I seriously hope they perform as well as they look, because both compacts are simply gorgeous!
Hi Eugenia,
Clarins makeup usually delivers, so I think these won’t disappoint!
Just beautiful !
I agree, Dominique!
This collection looks very promising. Clarins has been impressing me lately! Thanks for posting 🙂
