Today I would like to show tell you about the new eye shadow palettes from Dior and Chanel.
Dior just released the brand new formula of their quints which is called Dior 5-Color Lift Eyeshadow Palettes (£41/$60)
These are said to be the “first eye-lifting and radiance-boosting eye palette that features advanced serum powders.” It is said that these contain 40 times more skincare ingredients than other eye shadows and offer a radiance-boosting effect. Each palette contains natural shades of versatile liner, brow definer and three serum eye shadows.
Sounds promising so that would be interesting to try these out.
There are four palettes: Lifting Ivory and Lifting Grey
And two more in Lifting Rose and Lifting Amber
Also you may remember my post about the Chanel Cruise backstage and the look that was created for the show. So here is the preview of the Chanel eye shadow quad in Prelude for Fall 2011.

The Chanel eye shadow quad looks like a very basic palette which would be nice to have for a natural, everyday makeup look.
I like Lifting Amber. The rest…the colours are so ordinary. Dior has been coming out with neutrals a lot recently.
Hmm… these look really similar to the previous Designer Artistry palettes. Remarkably similar!
I life Lifting Amber, it has some interesting shades. But the other palettes look very boring and dupable.
i tried these on a counter in dublin and they are extraordinary. feel great going on and make your eye look better than normal shadows imo. they are ridiculously easy to blend, i got the lifting rose but going back for amber too!
Thanks for sharing, Laura. Sounds promising!
