Illamasqua Lipsticks Round-Up: Over, Immodest, Atomic and Kontrol

I was asked about my Illamasqua lipsticks several times on Twitter so  I thought, why not featuring them all together?

I have four shades and have already written about each in details, so this is more of a round-up.

Before I start, I have to say that I really like the brand’s lipsticks, they give an amazing colour pay-off and stay on really well.  Since they have a matte finish, make sure that you take a good care of your lips so that the lipstick doesn’t enhance any dry patches and goes on smoothly.

This coral with pink undertones, looks beautiful for Spring/Summer season.  Here is how it looks like on the lips.

It’s a part of the latest collection from Illamasqua, a full on “Barbie” pink.  I personally love blotting it with my fingers, otherwise, it’s too intense for me for an everyday life.  See it applied, gorgeous, right?

Is one of the coolest lip  colours that I own, it’s a fuchsia with a violet sheen. Very unique and looks uber hot with minimum eye makeup and a blusher with the same tone.  Here is is on myself.

Unfortunately, I am not brave enough to wear such shade outside, but maybe you are. However, I really like the texture and finish of this lipstick and how it looks like applied.

    1. I have less than 10 lipsticks in my personal collection, as I don’t wear lipsticks that often. I keep them mostly for makeup jobs.

  1. I know what you mean about being brave! I got one of their green lipsticks, Apocalips, and actually wore it to work (granted I work in a very small office!), but it was a much-blotted effort! I do love wild colours on the eyes and especially the nails, but sometimes it’s even difficult to wear a nice red lipstick. I love the fact that some amazing colours are out there, even if we only use them in private or in our imagination.
