Illamasqua is famous for their Liquid Metals (£17) and I’ve already reviewed 2 of them – Phenomena (molten silver) and Surge (molten pewter, my favourite of them all). Today I would like to tell you about their new Liquid Metal which is called Stoic and which I got from the brand (metallic emerald). It is from the Fall/Winter 2010 collection Art of Darkness.
And it’s a beautiful green which is a perfect shade for this Fall! It looks great paired with Illamasqua’s Viridian nail polish. A lot of people complimented on my look when I was wearing both products. By the way, Stoic looks beautiful with Urban Decay’s Loaded eye shadow and any black shadow.
You are gonna love liquid metals if you like beautiful metallic products with amazing colour payoff and if you don’t mind some creasing (it’s because the LM are very creamy).
I would personally recommend getting the new Liquid Metal palette #2 which contains Resolute, Stoic, Superior and Solstice for £29.50!
I’ve got this liquid metal in Stoic too, terrible creasing, couldn’t wear it longer then 2 hours, so sad, the color is gorgeous…
hi, skromni
Yes, they do crease but I like them for the colours.
ooooooooooooh that is soooo pretty!!! Wow, I am loving the metallic liquid metal gorgeousness of it
hi,vonnie
I love Surge the best, it’s just gorgeous.
So beautiful ! It reminds me of a MAC eyeshadow, I think it’s called Club? I’m not sure! Too bad I can’t wear cream eyeshadows, they don’t last on me! 🙁
Yes, Club is a bit similar. Try Benefit’s Creaseless Cream Shadows, they are great!
The color is gorgous! Too bad about the creasing, I don’t think it’s last long on my oily lids. 🙁
Color is pretty.
