As you know, every month I blog about women that inspire me. This month please meet my girl crush – Leighton Meester.
I LOVE this girl! And not only her but also Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl. She and Chuck are the reason why I watch the show (and I know that I am not alone here). But it would be better for me not to continue, lol. I can be easily carried away telling you how much I love this couple.
I guess no matter how old we are we all, well, almost all (I am talking about females here) have some kind of a crush. Some love Twilight, some Carrie and Big, some Potter and I love Chuck and Blair! Ok, enough of it…

I adore GG! Apparently, we ladies never get too old for that kind of tv series LOL.
I, too, like Blair and Chuck – well more specifically, I like Chuck, hum. And although I admit Blair/Leighton is absolutely gorgeous, I do have a girl crush on Serena/Blake. I have the same eyeshape so I try to use her eyes for inspiration. And I guess I am lemming the long wavy blonde hair that I will never have (my hair is more Blair-like actually). Anyway, that’s definitely one of my favorite series of the moment, together with some geeky stuff like FlashForward.

So true, my grandma still watches TV shows like this.
I can’t say that I am a big fan of S, I find her character a bit annoying but as for Blake she looks lovely, but not my style. I love the L’s type more and I also have dark eyes and hair.
All I can say is that I can’t wait for season 4!!! I wonder how many there are going to be, do you know? And I hope that there will be more episodes with C & B like in season 1 and 2, I really missed that in season 3!
Well, having seen the huge list of series that aren’t being kept on air next year, I’m happy GG will have a season 4, and I hope for many more, too!
In real life, you’ll probably consider me the Blair type, I guess I tend to want the opposite of what I have LOL.

i love blair and chuck more than the show itself.. they made GG great in my opinion.. they are epic ! and they get the most destructive drama too in season 3.. gosh i hate stupid writers for this..
but they can make they shittiest sl works.. ed and leighton’s acting are rock !
after i saw heartbreaking finale, i still ship them. i just love them too much..
and for leighton. she is my ultimate girl crush really. from the moment i watch GG and halfway through season 2 my eyes is hooked up only for her in GG and until now. and guess what i’m a girl. soo fangirl crushhh. she is the best.
i hope her career outside GG will success. with many movie come out and some of her music is not so bad either. it’s pretty good.

I agree that their acting is amazing. I can’t wait to see what’s next and I hope there will be more “hot” scenes like is season 1 and 2.
Blair is my favorite character in Gossip Girl as well, she always looks so polished and put together. C cannot die because he’s C lol if they killed him off I would be furious, but I agree that they are the best couple on GG. I find Serena a bit annoying personally, especially this season
