Make Up For Ever HD Powder Review

Today I want to tell you about the Make Up For Ever HD Powder which is a translucent finishing powder which can be applied over the foundation or worn alone. MUFE HD powder is very finely milled and is made of pure mineral silica (talc- free formula). It sets the foundation and evens out the complexion, it is also said that it slightly mattifies the skin.

To tell the truth,  I rarely (almost never) wear any kind of  powders on my face and I have a lot of reasons for that but the post is not about it. But I do have several powders to use them on  others. And I do like the effect that this one gives a lot. In fact all the girls I’ve used this powder on loved the effect it gives and were happy with the results.

And here is my impression:

I absolutely love the finish it gives, the skin looks so smooth and the makeup is set, it really improves the way your skin looks, especially it is good for the photos. A lot of girls I used this powder on were pleased with the way their skin looked on the photos.

The powder doesn’t look chalky or powdery at all, in fact it gives a perfect silky coverage and, as I was told, it feels light on the skin. I’ve read that it gives you that “blured Photoshop effect” and I have to agree on this one, it really hides some imperfections.

As you can see, I’ve tried this powder on a lot of people and both myself and them were happy with the results. So I believe this is a good product to purchase.

The price is £22.50/$30 for 10g. By the way, I’ve bought some other MUFE HD products and I will review them in the future.

  1. This is an excellent review of the powder! It’s too bad it didn’t work for me because I find it itchy on my skin 🙁 I’ve had a full pot for about a year now just sitting there not getting used! At least I’ve learned the lesson the hard way to test products first before purchasing them.

    1. Thank you, Mia. I am so sorry to hear that. I’ve heard a lot of great things about the Clinique loose powder from some amazing Make-Up Artists, maybe you should take a look at it? I plan to get it myself.
