Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara Review

Hello, ladies! I hope you are having a great weekend so far! Today I would like to review a False Lash Effect mascara by Max Factor. I find Max Factor mascaras absolutely amazing, and I’ve tried several of them and already reviewed 2 of them for you:

But back to False Lash Effect mascara:

“Why fake it when you can get a false lash impact with your own lashes? New False Lash Effect Mascara doubles your lash size* with the impact of false lashes without the fuss. It’s this season’s make up artist must have. The secret is in the lash boosting combination of Max Factor’s biggest brush ever combined with patented Liquid LashTM technology. Now with every volumising coat the big brush sweeps right to the tips giving your lashes fullness and head turning attitude. The result is 100% impact. 100% you.”

*thickness volume, appearance vs bare lashes

So this is how the mascara looks like:

I know that so many Make-up Artists and other women love this products so I was very excited to try it myself. I’ve been using it for several months already so it’s time for a review.

When I just opened this mascara I was a bit shocked because of the brush wich was so huge with short bristles around it. I’ve never had any similar brush to this before so it was a bit uncomfortable to use it. But I always say that you have to give each mascara two weeks to make any conclusions. After some time of practice I’ve used to the brush and the results I got really impressed me.

Probably the best thing about this mascara is that it doesn’t give you any clumps and it stays on very well. I have to make a confession: several times I felt asleep with it on and when I woke up it looked much better than some other mascaras.  Although it’s terrible to sleep with your makeup on, this was a great test, but don’t do that yourself! 😉

Also False Lash Effect mascara gives you a great volume, so the lashes look full and thick; I also like the length that it gives. I tried to use it with Lash Extension Effect mascara and the resultswere incredible. Long, thick, full, black and sexy lashes!

Here is how the brush looks like:

So would I recommend it? Yes, of course!

Plus if you can’t afford expensive mascara – this one is 15 Euros and it gives you incredible results.

And what is your favourite Max Factor mascara?

  1. the brush on this really reminds me of Covergirl’s Lash Blast, which some love and some hate. My HG mascara is Max Factor’s 2000 Calorie, I stocked up on that before they pulled out of the US (which made me so sad)
