New in Nail Polish Collections:Deborah Lippmann, Nails Inc, Illamasqua, Essie

I am on a mission to find a nail polish that I want to get for myself, as it’s been a while since I’ve bought any. And here are some new launches that caught my attention.

Deborah Lippmann Girls collection.

Can’t say that I am uber excited colour wise, but you just gotta love the Girls’ inspired collection, I think the shades are just spot on and I can almost see each character wearing their “name shade”.

HANNAH Hapless Hunter Green, MARNIE Prim And Proper Pink, SHOSHANNA Virtuous Vivid Violet, JESSA Bohemian Burgundy.

This set will be available from 15th January, which is the date of season two premier. In the US this set will retail for $45.

Nails Inc Bling it on Leather & Skulls

The black leather set has my name all over it, although am not sure I would wear skulls.  I think, I should get it actually. The tan one is also nice. Each  set is £19.

Illamasqua Rubber Nail Varnish

There are originally six shades but, for some reason, I can only see four of them on the brand’s website:  Serenity- turquoise,  Nurture – green, Devotee – pink and Prosperity – purple.  Optimist – yellow and Aorta- red are not listed (yet?).

Each is £13.50 and I love turquoise and red.

Essie Sleek Sticks

I am personally not a fan of nail warps, in fact, I have never used them. But I do find  some  of the Essie Sleek Sticks designs looking nice. I would even wear  “I Love To Love You” design.

There is also a great promo from A-England, to celebrate brand’s Second Anniversary. I need to get Saint George and Jane Eyre.

Here are my swatches of Bridal Veil and  Perceval.

And what nail polishes caught your attention recently?

  1. Nice picks! I especially like the tan nails inc set, hadn’t seen that one before. I have the turquoise rubber varnish from Illamasqua, and I like it a lot. It’s REALLY REALLY bright, but fun to wear, and you can always make it a regular glossy finish with some topcoat if the rubber finish isn’t your thing.

  2. Ok, this post pretty much summed up everything I’m looking forward to try out this spring as far as nails go !
I barely need to make a wishlist now, I’ll be like “go read Marina’s post”! Haha!!

Btw, I was looking for Aorta too and couldn’t find it on their site, weird that they released the video and everything prior to putting it up for sale!

    1. Aww, thank you so much! (I plna to write so other nail polish posts soon, too) 🙂
I think Illamasqua nail polishes were available at Sephora US before they were released in the UK and they did have all six. That is strange that only four are available for us… x
