Guerlain’s Autumn 2015 makeup collection, Bloom of Roses, looks more like Spring collection to me with neutral and subtle, rose inspired beauty products. But, maybe it’s a good thing to be unlike other brands, colour wise. And is actually my personal favourite along with Chanel.
The brand itself descibes this collection as the one that brings “lightness and well-being to the season.”
The new products are:
- KissKiss Roselips ( £23) a rich tinted lip balm enriched with rose oil, available in six shades: Chic Pink R372 A powder pink beige,Peach Party R346 A vibrant sunny orange,Wonder Violette R374 A chic violet, Pink Me Up R373 A very fresh pink and, Crazy Bouquet R329 A delicious red and Morning Rose R371 A colourless balm boosted by an active ingredient that interacts with the natural pH levels of the lips to give them a slight tint (shown).
- Nailift La Base (£19) which is like a nail perfector.
- Rose Aux Joues blush (£33.50) with ‘Pink Booster’ pigments. It is a re-designed blush and is available in 1. Morning Rose: a very fresh pink (shown)/ 2. Chic Pink: a soft brick with fine golden pearl sparkles / 3. Peach Party: a tender coral / 4. Crazy Bouquet: a sunny bright red / 5. Wonder Violette: a powdery plum / 6. Pink Me Up: a punchy pink.
Products that are added to the already existing line are:
Did you know that the best aromatherapy brand – Aromatherapy Associates celebrates their 30th anniversary this year. They brought out a limited edition Rose Body Velvet just for the occasion.
It has a pink and gold design and comes in a minimalistic white packaging.
As for the cream itself, as the name suggests, it is like a velvet that melts into the skin, and leaves it nourished and moisturised. A great one even if you have very dry skin like myself. And it works wonders after the cold months when the skin needs some extra care and love.
Being AA, you can be sure that it contains the highest quality essential oils that not only make the skin softer and smoother but also smell amazing. And
Being a huge Aromatherapy Associates fan I was happy to try their new hands cream. Especially considering that I am slightly obsessed with hand creams… Plus, I am also a rose scented products addict, so this looked like a win-win situation.
I have very dry skin, and not all the products are doing that much for me. But this one does exactly what the brand promises: deeply nourishes, hydrates, softens the skin, makes it smooth and silky.

Estelle & Thild Rose Otto Advanced Age Prevent Facial Oil and Rose Otto Advanced Age Prevent Serum Review
I don’t know how it happened that I have never written a review of two of my favourite skincare products (although I did mention them), that I, in fact, almost finished.
And I am talking about Estelle & Thild Rose Otto Advanced Age Prevent Facial Oil and Rose Otto Advanced Age Prevent Serum.
Esthelle & Thild is a luxury organic Swedish brand (and I do love anything Swedish, of course) which was founded in 2007 by Pernilla Rönnberg, which she created with her daughters in mind, Estelle and Mathilde, hence the name. And how gorgeous does the lady herself look?
I personally am not necessarily a die-hard fan of organic products, but these I do love.
I have two products from the mature/dry Rose Otto range, and they both are fantastic!
I usually post about the new individual beauty products on Facebook but today I’ve decided to feature new lips, eyes and face makeup products in one post, as they all deserve attention! And I personally love all three launches a lot.
As for the lips – Guerlain brought out two uber-gorgeous collector’s Rouge G de Guerlain Rose Lip Color lipsticks (£33/$54). There are two shades with the matching case: 864 Rose Grenat, velvety red-pink and 866 Rose Glace, nudish pink.
According to the press release it “provides a veil of pure transparency for perfect mattness and unveiled natural radiance. The single shade perfectly suits every skin tone, from the lightest to the darkest complexions.”
The face of the line is the gorgeous Maria Carla Boscono.
