This weekend I’ve re-organized products in my bathroom and made a list of the things that I need to pick up, mostly new shower gels and body creams, as I use those up rather quickly. I have noticed that I have five Lush shower gels, so decided to make a lill’ round up.
Lush Rose Jam Shower Gel (review)
This is my favourite one. While some people may find it too sweet and sugary, I am a huge fan, it smells just like rose jam and feels lovely on the skin, not drying at all.
Lush Glogg Shower Gel (review)
The other seasonal, LE one, which I really love, it is spicy and warm, exactly what you need during the AW season.
During the last several weeks I had a lot of stress, did not sleep that well, plus I have to take some medicine for three months, among other things. Why am I even telling that? So that you can release that my skin doesn’t look fantastic, unfortunately.
That’s when lill’ things like Clarins’ Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base are like
life complexion savers.
This is a lightweight base that doesn’t feel greasy or oily on the skin, plus I’d say that is makes the skin softer (yes, I did touch it) and smoother. I don’t have particularly large pores or major imperfections, but I would say that it definitely improves (visually) the look of the skin.
With my tired, glow-lacking, post-winter complexion I can really appreciate the
Bobbi Brown released quite a few new products and collections, let’s take a look at some of them.
There is a new Nectar & Nude collection, which, as the name suggests, is all about the peach, coral and nude shades.
This collection includes: Nail Polish in Nectar, Glitter Nail Polish in Bare Peach, High Shimmer Lip Gloss in Bare Peach and Lip Glosses in Nectar and Nude Pink, Pit Rouge For Lip & Cheeks in Hibiscus and Nectar and Nude eye palette. All the products are limited edition.
There is also a best seller – shimmer brick in Nectar.
The other collection, and it is gorgeous, in my opinion is called – Amnesia Rose, which is Bobbi Brown’s and L’Wrenn Scott’s collaboration.
It icncludes: Amnesia Rose palette (£50):Amnesia
Here is one more Spring 2014 makeup collection with pink and rose shades, it is even called English Rose. Burberry’s new release is just beautiful.
One of my favourite eye shadow palettes is actually Burberry’s Pink Taupe (and I use the pink and brown mostly, not a fan of other two shades), so I am actually pretty excited for their pink eye palette. Unlike some pinks, this one should look flattering on.
There are two Complete Eye Palettes (£40) Rose Pink, which I love, and Sage Green.
Two lip glows, which look amazing. I am a big fan of cool toned glass like glosses. Those Lip Glows (£18.50) are: Lavender and
It seems that when it comes to rose scent, there are those that love it, and those who really don’t (hate it, almost), but not than many are indifferent.
I am personally among the first group, I am a fan a good rose scented product. And although, there are tonnes on the market, there are not so many that I can’t live without.
