Perfume is definitely one of the best presents beauty wise. Almost everyone loves perfumes! So today I have three different fragrances to tell you about.
But before I start, I have to let you known that you can purchase all the mentioned fragrances at Perfumes Club , they have a big selection of luxury makeup, skincare and perfumes with big discounts (up to 75%). You can get brands like Tom Ford, La Prairie and Sisley as well as brands like Britney Spears, Hello Kitty and Shakira.
Boudoir by Vivienne Westwood, £21.59
Boudoir would make an amazing gift for confident women, it is definitely not a fragrance for young ladies.
This perfume is sexy, provocking, powerful, sophisticated, seductive and entoxicating. This scent makes a statement! It is very long-lasting, it stays on me for hours and hours.
You could wear this at a day-time but I like it better in the evening. What to wear it with?! I am thinking a beautiful dress and a red lipstick or a tuxedo from YSL and high heels…
Boudoir was created in 1998 by Martin Gras. The story is telling us that it was created to make all men ‘turn their heads after the woman that wears it when the smell wafts past them. ‘ It is dedicated to a feminine and strong woman, with accentuated sexuality. And, yes, there is something about this fragrance that makes you feel that way!
‘The top notes are aldehydes, sweetly-fresh bergamot, hyacinth, and orange blossom.
The heart is sweet and opulent with jasmine, luscious rose, narcissus, carnation, orris root, cardamom and coriander.
The base brings patchouli, warm and milky sandal wood, tobacco leaves, cinnamon and powdery soft vanilla.’
Boudoir comes in a simple but elegant bottle designed by Fabrice Legros with thick glass and a signature Vivienne Westwood’s logo on top, which is a globe with a ring; it symbolizes the power of femininity.
I will be wearing mine for the special occasions!
I was originally drawn to try this scent when I read that some of the notes are frangipani flower, vanilla and musk. It just could not be bad, I thought, and I really like it actually.
This fragrance was created in 2005 by Daphne Bugey and Olivier Cresp. You can get the fragrance in three different bottles: orange, white and fuchsia.
This scent is about travelling to Asian Countries, it contains Indonesian frangipani flowers, Japanese cherry blossom, Chinese white tea, rice from Thailand, vanilla, sandalwood, amber and musk.
This fragrance would probably fit almost all age categories, it really depends on your mood and preferences. I would describe it as lovely, romantic and sensual. It is milky, powdery and relatively sweet. Amour is very smooth and cosy, if you can say so about perfume.
It is not provokingly sexy and bold; men usually compliment on this fragrance.
I really enjoy wearing Amour, especially in cold Autumn/Winter days.
Oh, Lola by Marc Jacobs, £28.68
Oh, Lola got a lot of attention recently because of the campaign, as you may know. But what about the fragrance itself?!
It lauched only this summer (2011) and it’s a perfect summery, juicy and youthful fragrance which was created by Ann Gottlieb, Calice Becker and Yann Vasnier.
In my opinion, this would make a perfect gift for a teen or a young girl, as it has a pretty and cute pink design with a plastic flower on top.
The scent is also very youthful and fruity. Top notes are: wild strawberry, raspberry and pear. Middle notes: magnolia, peony, cyclamen. Base notes: sandalwood, tonka bean, vanilla.
This is definitely a Spring/Summer scent and would fit the girly girl perfectly. The only problem with it is that it is not long-lasting at all.
Not sure if this is my kind of fragrance but I will give it a try in the ‘right’ season.
Besides a great variety of brands to choose from and great prices, at Perfumes Club you can shop with Credit card, Paypal or Money Transfer. Although the prices are low, the products I got were of the high quality.
my sister recently bought “oh lola” its definitely cute and a great gift! but perhaps not something for a daily scent?
I think OH, LOLA! is Vibrant and playful. Sparkling, fruity floral, with key notes of raspberry, peony and vanilla. Actress Dakota Fanning captures the refreshing spirit of OH, LOLA! in the advertising campaign. Dressed in a Marc Jacobs pink polka dot dress, Dakota embodies the chic and charming personality of OH, LOLA!
