Tag: BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector
I have mentioned BECCA’s highlighter palette only yesterday (in the post about Hourglass palette for Christmas), and today I saw on Twitter that it is already available at Ulta for $39.50.
So, what is a part of the Afterglow Palette?
Here is a selection of the new makeup products that caught my attention. There is something for complexion, eyes and lips.
First of all, take a look at this gorgeous BECCA’s Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Rose Gold ($38) and The One Perfecting Brush ($49). Here is a actually a video of both products in use.
As for the eyes, Bobbi Brown brought out Smokey Eye Kajal Liners (£18/$27) available in Jade, Pacific, Black Amethyst, Black
I am pretty sure that you all know by now, that I am a huge fan of BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl which was recommended to me by Lisa Eldridge several years ago.
And although it works perfectly for me and (so far) for all the girls I’ve used it on, some may prefer a different formulation.
So if you are not a huge fan of liquids, you’d be happy to hear about the new Compact Shimmering Skin Perfectors. Naomi, a lovely fellow BECCA fan, actually spotted that these are already available at Sephora and it was nice of her to share.
The new highlighters are described as “creamy powder luminizers”. I wonder if they will bring out Pearl in this formulation. If so, I’d love go get one for myself.
So far the shades that are available are: Opal, Topaz and Moonstone, each retails for $38.
Besides the new highlighters, there is also a lovely eye shadow palette released for summer, Ultimate Eye Color Quad in Sun Chaser.
It’s almost the end of the year so I just want to share my favourite makeup products for face of 2010! I am not going to name a favourite product in each category but will just name the products that I really loved this year. This is obviously my personal opinion and I would really love to hear about your favourite products!
Illamasqua Satin Primer
This works amazing if you have dry skin. I just mix a tiny bit of this primer with foundation and it gives a beautiful dewy finish. It doesn’t look greasy but I would use it only on the dry skin. Read review here.
Make Up For Ever HD Powder
It works like a “real life” Photoshop, it blurs all the imperfections. Now don’t get me wrong it won’t make your skin look perfect if you have a lot of problems but it does change the way your makeup looks a lot. It is also an amazing products for taking photos. Read review here.
Too Faced Bronzers
These are great for brightening up the face, I use them to give the face the warm glow. Too Faced brozners are shimmery but not over the top, they give just a perfect shade. My favourite are Pink Leopard and Sun Bunny. Read review here.
Hoola by Benefit
This was my favourite bronzer for contouring this year, I’ve used it a lot on myself and on others. It has a matte finish which looks nice on a lot of skin tones. Read review here.
This was the most difficult task to choose my favourite blushes because there are
