New week and month is a perfect time to share the new beauty purchases, isn’t it?
I have actually posted all of them over at my Instagram but if you are not following me there, here is a round-up.
First of all, I have finished 3 body products so it was time go get some new ones, and this time I’ve decided to pick up yet another body oil – ArtDecoYlang Ylang and Patchouli Precious Dry Body Oil which was already included in my July beauty favourites.
I have also noticed that Yves Rocher updated their body line by changing the scent a bit, and since I love their body lotions and creams (especially this one) I have decided to get try the Mango Coriander, and it smells great.
I needed a new facial sunscreen, and got La Roche Posay Anthelios XL Ultra Light Fluid SPF 50. On the photo is actually my friend’s tube but I loved it so much that I’ve got myself one, as well. It feels incredibly light and non greasy on the face, and
It’s been quite some time since I did the “empties” post last time. Since this weekend I was cleaning my bathroom, and found several empty bottles, I though I’d share with you. I usually throw those away immediately, but here are some that I’ve kept for the post 🙂
So, here we go…
A lot of Clarins, nothing new here. Clarins Extra-Comfort Toning Lotion for Dry and Sensitive Skin and Clarins Water Comfort One-Step Cleanser with Peach Essential Water are simply brilliant. Both products! One of the best toner, and a great morning cleanser when you don’t have time or don’t want to spend a lot of time massaging in your cleansing balm. I will definitely re-purchase both in the future.
The Double Serum doesn’t even need an introduction, it was probably the most talked about, multi-award winning, serum in the last two years. And rightly so, it is very good.
The best on-line shop to buy Clarins from is Escentuals.
Lately I’ve been obsessed with
I have already mentioned Rituals Shanti Chakra Caring Body Oil Spray in my November favourites, and today want to share about it in more details.
I wanted to get myself a new body oil for AW season, and this one caught my attention. I have actually never tried anything from Rituals, which is a beauty brand from the Netherlands, so was excited to give it a go.
The oil itself is non-greasy or sticky. I apply it on a slightly dampened skin after the shower or bath, and it takes several seconds to soak in (I have very dry skin), and leaves my skin nourished, smooth and soft. I really wish they had more body oils with different scents, as I would
It’s time for July favourites and this month it was very easy to pick the products, as I truly love all of them and have been reaching for them a lot!
So here we go:
I don’t know how many times I’ve mentioned Xen-Tan Deep Bronze Luxe Once A Week Self Tan (review) and Omorovicza Gold Shimmer Oil (review) but I have to do it just once again as they are both fantastic products! Both are not exactly cheap but the best summer investment I’ve made. The self tanner gives my pale skin some colour so that I don’t look like a corpse and the oil moisturizes my dry skin and gives a beautiful glow.
I am not the one to go for shimmer usually but for summer I love it. Plus the oil smells amazing and a little goes a very long way.
When I finish my Xen Tan self tanner I plan to get an even darker version (I also have a Light one, by the way) – Xen-Tan Dark Lotion Absolute Luxe Weekly Self-Tan, that is.
Terre d’Oc Milky Make-up Remover Oil

When I first heard about the Linden Leaves, a beautiful skincare range from New Zealand, I really liked pretty much everything about the brand.
I loved the clean and sophisticated packaging, the series that the products are divided into and the story behind the brand. Plus they also have two series for men – Pure Man and Rugby.
I also liked their website, it gave me this idea of a natural and soothing skincare line. There are actually a lot of products to choose from so it was very hard. But I’ve decided to try the scrub from the Herbalist line which is called Sugar Salt Exfoliating Body Rub and the Memories Body Oil from the Aromatherapy Synergy range.
Herbalist Sugar Salt Exfoliating Body Rub, €23.53 (200g / 7.05 oz)
It’s great to have a sugar salt scrub as most are just sugar or salt, so now you don’t have to choose. The first thing that I’ve noticed about this product – its unusual and rather strong scent. I can’t quite describe it but I’d say that Herbalist is a great name for this product.
The rub contains essential oil of basil (‘to stimulate circulation and invigorate’), clary sage (‘to ease muscular aches and relax and de-stress the mind‘), and evening primrose oil (‘to nourish and hydrate’). Other ingredients are: jojoba oil and sweet almond oil (‘to moisturise and soothe inflamed skin’).
This is a really lovely product, I find that it effectively but gently exfoliates my skin, leaving it smooth and ready for a moisturizer! It doesn’t hurt or damage the skin as it contains essential oils. As for the scent, I don’t think that I’ve had anything with a similar one, but, luckily, I like it. I find it calming and relaxing!
Memories Body Oil , € 31.93 (250 ml)
Now this is a very unique product. Although
