Catrice Absolute Eye Colour in I am A Coal-Girl Review and Swatches

I want to show you the eye shadow which I’ve had for quite a long time now and which was a present from Magi.

It is Catrice Absolute Eye Colour in I am A Coal-Girl. I have never tried Catrice eye shadows before and was very impressed actually, no wonder so many people love these affordable but high quality products.

Design is the first thing (most) people look at when it comes to makeup and, in this case, it looks nice and simple, I like it.

The eye shadow itself is very pigmented, smooth and easy to blend. I am a Coal-Girl is a matte deep chocolate shade which is perfect for a smoky eye or for being used as a liner to define the eyes, among

My Top Three Eye Shadows: Benefit, Rouge Bunny Rouge and MAC

My favourite eye shadow colour is chocolate brown, especially  with cooper  undertone. So here are my top three. Cream eye shadow from Benefit in Busy Signal which is an amazing long-lasting product, perfect for a smoky eyes.

There is also Rouge Bunny Rouge Bejewelled Skylark, which has to be my most used eye shadow. I love the buttery smooth  texture and pigmented colour.

I have also found a sample of MAC’s  Cooperbeam pigment which I adore. I have got it as a bonus from a blog sale and completely forgot about it. But it is so beautiful that I must have a full size. I can’t see it on

Lumiere Cosmetics Eyes and Cheeks Products. Review and Swatches. Plus A Face OF The Day

When I was asked if I’d like to try Lumiere Cosmetics I was happy to agree since I haven’t tried that many mineral brands plus I thought that it would be an interesting topic for some readers.

I was sent three eye products, one blush, one bronzing blush and two face powders/foundations.

The great thing is that I could actually choose the colours myself which was pretty amazing. So here is what I’ve got.

As for the eye products, I’ve chosen two Glitz and one Eye Shimmer.

All descriptions of the shades are from the website.

Glitz* in Chocolate Covered Cherries, Medium deep berry brown with LOADS of cherry colored sparkles! And Raspberry Truffle, Medium Deep brown with LOADS of raspberry sparkles!

Eye Shimmer* in Black Cherry, Very rich deepened black cherry, with a low sheen that will intensify when foiled. Exciting alternative for contouring and smokey eye effects. Also very pleasing as a liner.

My impression:

L’Oreal Chrome Intense Eye Shadows in Cacao Mania. Review and Swatches

I’ve been wanting L’Oreal Infallible Color eye shadows ever since I first heard of them but after this post at Modesty Brown I had to go and buy them. For some reason they were not available at that time so I had to get something else.

What?! I was determined to waste spend some money. This is why I’ve got this yellow lip gloss, Chrome Intense Eye Shadows in Cacao Mania and the most gorgeous blacked red nail polish that I will show you later.

I don’t even remember when I got anything from L’Oreal for the last time so I thought I would try some products.

I have heard some good things about these eye shadows before and since I was really impressed with the swatches I did in store, I’ve chosen shade #184 in Cacao Mania.

I have to say that

Hourglass Cosmetics Visionaire Eye Shadows Duo in Gypsy Review, Swatches and Makeup

I’ve been really impressed by the Hourglass products lately but most of all I’ve been impressed with their eye shadows. They are, without  a doubt, one of the best eye shadows that I have ever tried.

I am almost sure that I took the photos of the palette before I’ve started using it but unfortunately I can’t find them anywhere. So I am sorry that my eye shadows are a bit messy, I’ve been using them a lot and I also managed to drop them, which was horrible. But I am very impressed tat they didn’t fall apart completely as most eye shadows would.

First of all take a look at the gorgeous design, you can actually tell that it is a luxurious product. The colour of the package is beautiful plus it has a mirror and a 360° swivel lid. The brush which comes with the palette is not a complete rubbish as most  similar brushes are.  It can be actually used if you don’t have anything else around. I’ve used it myself and was  surprised that it’s not bad at all!

But most important. What about the eye shadows themselves?
