A lot of Fall 2011 collections will be out in the mid July and since it’s June already we have around 1.5 months. So I think it’s a perfect time to see the new collections and plan on what you are getting since it’s the time of the vacations and you’d probably need money for that first of all.
So anyway, here is the Estee Lauder Fall 2011 makeup collection created by Tom Pecheux and called The Pure Color Mercury.
The star product is the Pure Color Illuminating Powder Gelée. I have to include the full description of the product here because it sounds really interesting:
” A new “tribrid” system of liquid, powder and gel revolutionizes makeup application and wear. This first-of-a-kind, “multi-powder” formula creates a theatrical blur of shimmer on the skin when applied dry and a fierce flush of color when applied wet. The unique suspension of golden pigments and pearls float on top of the skin, resulting in a truly unique sensorial experience for skin. The futuristic powder is flexible and uses a luminosity boosting complex that makes the complexion appear perfectly smooth, sexy and glowing with a polished finish.”
My personal favourite product from this collection is this Pure Color Nail Lacquer in Metallic Sage. It looks gorgeous on the promo!

In my Spring magazine I covered the hottest makeup trends for SS 2011 from the Runway. You could see that colourful liners are hot for this summer. I’ve also included the makeup from Derek Lam show which was created by Tom Pecheux, Estée Lauder Creative Makeup Director, which you can see on pages 55 and 56.
And now the Orange Crush this mini collection was inspired by the look that I’ve mentioned.

This is such a bright and vivid orange colour, definitely for those who want to make a statement with their look.
“Updating your look can be as simple as adding coral gloss over your favorite lipstick shade. Mixing makes it modern.” -Tom Pecheux
