Back in the days my hair care routine was washing my hair with a high street shampoo. That was it. Literally. I did not even own a hair brush. Yes, I am not exaggerating. But we are talking like 15 years ago. My brother was always very unimpressed, and was telling me to change things for years, and gradually I’ve started investing time, effort and money, ahem, in my routine. And it really pays off. I even took vitamins!I do get compliments for my hair these days but, most importantly, I am pleased with the way it looks myself.
As you would imagine, now my routine is quite extensive. And while there are still a few products that I want (like this Aquis (Amazon/ Amazon UK) hair turban which is supposed to be amazing!), I am pretty pleased with everything I am using, and should probably write about it at some point.
But today I want to tell you about two things that I’ve added to my routine recently. They are both very extra but I really like them.
I’ve been reading about how good vinegar is for your hair for ages but quite frankly I did not
Usually when it comes to reviewing a product I know whether or not I love it; but it took me almost a year to figure out this one. I have bought it last summer and am writing a review only now. Why?
Maybe, because of my expectations. I was ready for a miracle-in-a-bottle, I guess.
The serum adds shine and smooths the hair, especially the ends, without making them greasy. I also don’t have any complaints about this product, at all. It has a nice design, convenient pump, and is Swedish (which is always a bonus, if you ask me) It is just that
I would love to have long, thick and shiny hair… And although I could never have all of that, a girl can dream, right?
Now I am trying to make my hair grow and after reading quite a few articles about that I’ve made some conclusions and I’ve written down some tips.
But today I want to ask you to share your opinion. Do you use anything to make your hair grow faster? Maybe you can share your favourite products to make your hair look shiny and glossy?
By the way, I’ve been trying different hair dies ever since my teenage years but I haven’t been colouring my hair for almost a year now. Luckily, my natural hair and my last hair dye are not that different ;). Now it’s obviously healthier but can’t say that I am very happy with the results… And do you colour your hair or don’t?
What is on your hair care wish list? You can see the products that are on mine above. I wish these were the only products that I want though.
Today I would like to talk about hair: hair care, hair colours and hair disasters.
Something horrible is happening with my hair right now and I am not yet sure what is the reason for this. By something horrible I mean that my hair looks awful just on the second day after I’ve washed it.
Maybe it’s a wrong shampoo, but hello, I’ve changed 3 shampoos and the result is the same; or maybe it’s because of the hot weather. Anyway, I need a specialist to see my hair and tell me what to do. This is why I plan to visit my salon this week.
Hair Colour and Length.
My hair looks pretty much the same for the last several years: medium length and different variations of dark shades. I go to the same salon every 2.5-3 months ( I don’t need to do that more often) to get a hair cut and maybe some treatments. And what about your hair routine?
Bad Hair Experience.
1) I read that if you want
I wanted to write the post about “April Favourites” but I was cleaning my place and washing windows today so I am very tired right now. But here is one thing that I would really like to know : What dry shampoo do you use and why?

Lately I have to wash my hair more often that I would like but I found an amazing shampoo that works great. So now I only need to find a good dry shampoo and I am open to your recommendations. By the way, if you are looking for a nice shampoo for summer you may like Sun Guardian by Schwarzkopf (read my review here)
I hope you are having a great Saturday and have great plans for Sunday!
