I am having a major pink & mauve eye shadows moment right now. If you are a new reader, here is what kind of shades I used to wear all the time.
I have been wearing Rouge Bunny Rouge’s Solstice Halcyon at least several times per week during the last two months. And recently I’ve added some other eye shadows to my rotation. Which ones?
Rouge Bunny Rouge’s Solstice Halcyon: “semi-matte mauve beige”. It is such a perfect shade, I have already mentioned it so many times that you probably already know my love for it at this point :).
ArtDeco eye shadow 93: described as “pearly antique pink”. You can see that it is well-loved. It adds just a hint of warm rose colour to the lid. It is not too metallic, just a
For those of you who don’t know – YSL are launching the new version of their quints, and you can take a look here.
But today I want to tell you about one of their duos – YSL Ombres Duolumieres Jaune Ardent/Bleu Torride, and this lill’ palette is just perfect for summer, as you get a blue, and a yellow!
Let’s take a look…
The colours are very beautiful, and are true to what you see in the packaging. You can get a sheer wash of colour, or build up the intensity by layering, using over primer or with a damp brush or sponge. The sponges that come on the palette are actually great for packing on shadows.
I personally love using the blue on top of any blue eye shadow with a lot of mascara, it looks great on brown eyes. Or with a damp thin brush an eye liner. Yellow could be used for a
Great news for all the Rouge Bunny Rouge fans, especially for the fans of their fantastic eye shadows.
This month the brand launches two new shades that were featured in the latest look Utopia. And I actually have both shades to show you.
The shades are:
Rain Dove: Lightest taupe with rosy gold highlights – overall satin finish. But, according to the brand, the colour is very complex and might look slightly different depending on the skin tone.
Rufous-tailed Weaver: True medium taupe with bronzy-gold highlights – overall satin finish. Again,
I have already written about a lot of Rouge Bunny Rouge eye shadows but never posted about one of my most-used and loved one (and one of the newest shades) – Eclipse Eagle. I have actually featured it in my November favourites, so it is about time for some swatches.
Since I have written a lot of reviews about these eye shadows, you can just click the link above for all the details… But take a look at this gorgeous shade.
You can use it on it’s own, paired with some eye pencil and mascara for a smoky eye. Since it is a complex and multi-dimensional shade – it looks beautiful and makes a statement without “any help” from the other shades. That is the kind of
How gorgeous is this promo photo of Amanda Seyfried for Cle De Peau Fall 2013 makeup collection? I even posted it on Makeup4all’s Facebook page last week.
I’ve always wanted to try the brand’s lipsticks but somehow never did (yet).
But the fact that that there is now a huge selection of Extra Rich Lipstick (Refill, $40 and holder, $25) makes it even more tempting. It is a moisturizing and radiant looking lipstick which is available in three formulas: S (satin), SK (silk) and V(velvet).
There are five new
