Long time readers know that I love my high-end eye makeup products. I have never been able to find anything from the high street which I would love as much.
But I’ve set myself an “under £20” target this time. And here are the results: two products under £20 which I really love.
Eye liner and a lot of mascara is my go to look, you can see it here.

In a second feature for the mascara week I thought it’d be great to talk about two hyped up mascaras and share my impression about each. Spoiler alert: I am a huge fan of one and really dislike the other, no matter how much I’ve tried to like it. One more important thing – I have tried both mascaras not only on myself. I’ve also paid for both.
Here we go…
This mascara is absolutely brilliant, it lives up to the “Superhero” name. It is an all-in-one formula, your lashes are instantly transformed. We are talking ultra black, long and super voluminous results.
I’ve also read that this product contains “lash-lifting polymers, volumising collagen, strengthening biotin, proteins and peptides” to condition the lashes. I am a huge effect of this mascara as it is so that is like a great bonus.
You get great fabulous results with any sorts of lashes but if yours are
Mascara is probably the makeup product. And usually even those ladies who are not into makeup love themselves some mascara so I’ve decided to dedicate this week to mascaras, and we will start with looking at my all time favourites. And it is Hourglass Caution Extreme Lash Mascara. I remember being very impressed with their Film Noir mascara back in 2011, and this one is brilliant, as well!
It comes in a beautiful golden tube but I have a mini/travel version hence it looks different.
As I always say, I want my eye lashes to be dramatic, I do not want a “natural” effect, and this mascara delivers. I find that the formula is very buildable, as promised, but it is clump free, you do not get those spidery lashes as with some other mascaras. Instead, your lashes are lusciously voluminous, ultra black and oh-so-long. I can’t say anything
A while ago beauty world was obsessed with Smith and Cult nail polishes, and I was not an exception. So a few months ago I’ve decided to try their mascara, as it looked and sounded promising. And the name is also so cool. Lash Dance? Yes, please!
Just like with the nail varnish, I really loved the design of the mascara, the gold tube and the fronts are really cool.
And the performance is also just wow! I personally do not like mascaras with natural looking effect, I want those va va voom voluminous lashes. And this baby does exactly that. I find Lash Dance to be buildable and the silicone brush with short bristles
