New Beauty Purchases
I haven’t posted about my new beauty and makeup purchases in a while, although I did feature them on Instargam, so here is a round-up.
Let’s start with beauty, I’ve actually got three products from Kiehl’s.
Original Musk Bath and Shower Liquid Body Cleanser which I’ve got after reading all the raves from Sandra, and for some reason I was expecting a more intense scent but I still like it.
I’ve also decided to finally try the hyped up concentrates – Midnight Recovery Concentrate and Morning Reviving Concentrate. I will definitely write detailed reviews later on, but so far I can say that on my very dry skin I can’t use them on their own, as I often do with serums/oils, I have to use a cream on top.
Finally, beauty wise, although I did not buy this product myself, and it was a gift from a friend, I’ve decided to mention it, as it is such a cool one – Tromborg Aromatherapy Body Oil Lavender Rose Tree (which I have already included in my favourites). From the motto ‘Scandinavian mood’ to luxurious packaging, nice formula and divine scent – it is as good as it gets.
As for makeup, it was all about Chanel, YSL, Smith & Cult and
March 2016 Beauty Favourites
It’s time for March beauty favourites, so here are the products that really stood out for me.
Clarins Gloss Prodige in 09 Water Lily (review and lip swatches)
Back in the days I was singing praises to Gloss Prodige, and recently I’ve re-discovered my love for it. It has a nice scent, brilliant moisturising formula and the most beautiful nudish pink shade. This is probably my favourite lip gloss that I own.
Rouge Bunny Rouge Eye Shadow Palette Raw Garden in Antigo (review and swatches)
I have been using this palette almost every day, and recently wrote a detailed review about it, you get four eye shadows with a unique sateen matt light texture which feels weightless on but still has a nice pigmentation. The
New Beauty Purchases
I was trying all that bronzer/golden eye shadow/nude lips look for a while but I came back to what I love and to what works for me – red and berry.
After a week of being sick at home, I’ve decided to go and get some new makeup products, as a little pick-me-up treat and since I haven’t got anything new in forever (and I mean colour & cosmetics, not beauty products in general). And I’ve decided to get some drugstore products I’ve been meaning to pick up for some time now.
First of all, Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick (you can get it on-line for £8.99 from Feel Unique).
Yes, just when their Aqua Laque is the new big thing – I’ve finally got the original version. And I really, really love it. It feels weightless on the lips and gives a gorgeous matte wash of colour. I’ve chosen the shade 01 personne ne rouge which is a beautiful red. Stay tuned for a detailed review and lip swatches.
Maybelline ColorDrama Intense Velvet Lip Pencil in 310 Berry Much.
Another product I’ve been meaning to get for a while but never did since I have so many berry and plum lipsticks in my
Nails Of The Day: Max Factor Max Effect in 45 Fantasy Fire
Last week I was sorting out my nail polish collection, and realized that I never posted about the nail polish (and several other) which I’ve bought over a year ago, and which was a huge back then.
And I am talking about Max Factor’s Max Effect in 45 Fantasy Fire.
It is a sheer and very complex blueish purple with reddish shimmer. A total beauty! I even did not paint my nails red this week, just to wear this…
Above you can see me wearing four shades of it. Yes, that is a lot of effort, but luckily those layers are thin and dry very quickly so you don’t have to wait for hours. I have also used
