SS17 Luxury Blushes: Burberry, Cle De Peau, Sisley and byTerry

There are a lot of new blushers out for Spring 2017, and I even posted a preview of some of the coolest palettes. But here is a preview of the creme de la creme of the blush launches, the most luxurious and high-end ones.

Burberry Beauty Silk and Bloom Blush Palette $68 from Nordstrom and £45 from Feel Unique

“An illuminating face powder that creates a soft glow with a hint of colour. It  combines subtle rosy colour and illuminating pearls, the soft-as-silk powder creates a glowing, flushed effect on your cheeks.”  the pattern of the blush is inspired by the  antique wallpaper sourced from London’s Victoria and Albert Museum.

Cle De Peau Cream Blush, $60 from Neiman Marcus and Barney’s

“A luxuriously moisturizing cream blush with Argan Oil that

YSL Street and I Makeup Collection for Spring 2017

YSL Street and I Makeup collection for Spring 2017 was inspired by the urban art and is all about the white, orange and grey shades. There are also cool new blush/lipstick cute little duos.

Here is a video preview of the look:

Baby Doll Kiss & Blush Duo Stick ($34) are the cool new products in the line. These were inspired by the  Baby Doll Kiss & Blush Lip and Cheek, these colours can be used separately or blended together. They have a smooth and matte finish and can be used both on cheeks and lips.

The shades are:

  • N°1 from Marrakech to Paris – the brightest coral, the most intense fuchsia.
  • N°3 from Cute to Devilish – a gentle coral, a warm, rich orange.
  • N°4 from Me to You – a pretty pale rose teams up with a blush pink.
  • N°5 from Darling to Hottie – burst into neon pink or drift into raspberry red.
  • N°6 from Prude to Nude – a rosy nude melts into a mocha nude.
  • N°7 from Mild to Spicy – a cherry red segues into a plum-brown.

Couture Eye Palette Collector,  $60

“KEEP AN EYE ON ME,” compact includes the following shades: a shimmering pale pink to bring light under the brow; a hard city grey for lining or creating a smoky eye; a flash of orange, a duo of pinks to brighten up the evening cityscape.

Face Palette Collector, $47

“I HAVE A BLUSH ON YOU” compact,  and an

Lancome Absolute Rose Makeup Collection for Spring 2017

Spring is all about the fresh pinks, lavenders and blues makeup-wise, and Lisa Eldridge did a great job capturing all that and  the signature Lancome’s rose in a beauty collection. There are some very cool and innovative products, too.

Let’s take a look.

The star product is definitely the La Rose Blush Powder  which comes in the rose shape, and  truly looks incredible. It is encapsulated in a 50’s French-inspired Bijou box, the product itself is a highlighting luminous powder.  There is a also Kabuki Brush   which comes in a LE  rose gold design.

The other really cool idea is to combine a high-pigmented matte formula on one end, and a cushion on the other. Le Stylo Parisian Lips  come in four shades: 01 Bonjour Bonheur, 02 Rose Mon Amour,  03 Je M Appelle Rose and

I rarely use more than two shades on my eye lids anyway. But if you are, like my friend,  palette-crazy, I have selected some brand new releases for SS17.

Enjoy, and happy shopping!
