There is always at least one product from Too Faced makeup collections that I want. Pardon My French is not an exception, those eye shadows and melted lipsticks are stunning. *add to wish list*. And what about their eye brow products? They look amazing on the promo photos.
Honestly, this has to be my favourite summer collection so far!
Capture a summer sunset in St. Tropez with coral, golden pink and fiery copper shadows for eyes that say “Ooh la la!”
Too Faced eye shadows are among my favourite, and how beautiful does that new eye shadow look? I think I need it!

The brand’s bronzers are fantastic, I have Sun Bunny and Pink Leopard.

All the fans of Guerlain Terracotta – rejoice, this years the brand brought out a new and exciting product – Joli Teint.
Joli Teint Beautifying Foundation SPF 20 – PA++ £34.50 / €46.50
Olivier Echaudemaison, Guerlain’s Creative Director, describes it as a foundation which “combines translucency, lightness and luminosity”. According to the brand, it’s the first Beautifying Foundation for an instant Sun-kissed Healthy Glow. It should help to counter the fatigue that dulls the complexion and add some healthy colour, glow and luminosity to the face.
There are five shades to choose from: Clair, Naturel, Moyen, Fonce and Ebony.
Sunless Tinted Self Tanning Gel £35.50 / €48.00
Moisturizing tinted gel that creates an instant tan, enriched with agran oil.
Clarins’ Makeup collection for Summer 2014 called Colours of Brazil is absolutely gorgeous with all the gold and blue shades and beautiful prints and embellishments.
My personal favourite product has to be the Colours of Brazil Quartet & Eye Liner Palette (£32)
Truly stunning shades of eye shadows and that eye liner is to die for. Plus you get a special edition compact.
There is one more product for the eyes – TrulyWaterproof Mascara (£21) in black.
According to the brand, it is both lengthening and volumizing, the formula contains the combination of bitter orange tree wax and squalance from olive, which nourishes and conditions the lashes. It will be a part of the permanent line, unlike all the other products from the collection.
The month of Fashion Weeks has started and I usually post some of the beauty looks here, so stay tuned to find out the upcoming trends for SS14.
And today I want to share the look that was created by one of my favourite beauty brands – Hourglass Cosmetics by makeup artist Polly Osmond for Christian Siriano’s spring 2014 collection.
I always love reading about the inspiration behind the collection and the makeup, so here it is:
Siriano was inspired by a recent trip to Isla Mujeres on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, and the destination’s exuberant color palette. The new collection features vivid prints, woven raffias, and sculptural organzas all in vibrant hues. “I wanted the collection to be light, feminine and romantic,” says Siriano. “Like the girl left the beach but she had a cocktail party to go to, and threw on a dress, a bright lip, and little highlighter.”
What Osmond says about the look: “It’s beachy, breezy and with a pop of color on the lips. I wanted to create a diffusion of texture, color and light. It’s how your skin would look at a tropical sunset. We used the new Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette to create a breathtaking glow—not just on the cheeks but on the eyes, too.”
