The Best of the Spring 2011 Makeup Collections

I am looking through all the Spring 2011 makeup collections (I can’t wait to see the one from BECCA ) and am trying to make some conclusions and the wish list.

To tell the truth, I can’t say that I am super excited about all the collections, although there are quite a few products that I am interested in: new Dior Addict lipsticks, Chanel Coco Rouge Shine, new Shiseido lipsticks, Guerlain pink lipsrick , YSL blushes, No 7 pretty much everything (but I already bought several things, will write my impression later), Hourglass Aura collection, Too Faced  Romantic Eye palette ( I really want this one) and I would really love some nail polishes.

Basically that is it. But I want a lot of other products (from the permanent collections I mean) and I am working on my wish list now. Will probably share with you all soon.

By the way, I really love watching the official videos of makeup collections so here is the one from YSL (I also liked the one from Dior). It looks like it’s so easy to create this look… But usually when you try it yourself, turns out that not really!

And what is on your list?

  1. I’m curious abot Chanel Shines too, but to be honest I really liked Helena Rubinstein’s Wanted Shine. I think those are discontinued. They looked like real lipsticks, but the finish was much lighter. I also wanted to get this YSL highlighter on the pic, but I haven’t seen it yet. I think it looks even more interesting than the butterflies by Lancome (which are, obviously, spectacular=)))

  2. Hmm, I’m trying to be good and not make a huge list this time…
I know I want a couple of Chanel items (the Regard Perle quad, Peregrina lipstick and probably Espiegle blush) and the brown Guerlain eyeshadow (I think it’s 187 sth?)… but I think that’s about it (maaaaybe an Hourglass lipstick too?)! Ah, see it adds up so quickly!!! 🙂 xx
