Winter Lip Saviours: Burt’s Bees Super Shiny Lip Gloss and Lip Balm. Review and Swatches

Today I want to show you two lip products from Burt’s Bees:  Super Shiny Lip Gloss in Zesty Red and Lip Balm in Pomegranate.

I think that  their lip balms are already a  cult product as so many people love them. I like mine, too. And as you can see, I always take mine with me so everything rubbed off (so I’ve also included a promo picture below).

The pomegranate lip balm makes my lips soft and moisturized, and works brilliant for the cold weather as it is easy to use and it’s not sticky. It also contains:  açaí berry,vitamins A, C, D and E and healthy Omega oils which is great.  The balm doesn’t really give any colour and you can use it on the go.

As for the Lip Gloss, it is a lovely product for those who want a benefit of a natural lip balm combined with some subtle colour.

I would not recommend applying it without a mirror as you may make a mess (or I manage to).

I find that this gloss is as good as the lip balm  in terms of moisturizing and healing the lips but the texture is stickier and thicker. As for the colour, on the lips it looks like a subtle warm brownish red with delicate shimmer

I would totally repurchase the  lip balm and would love to buy the pink lip gloss. These are amazing, especially when yoy think about the price!
