Here is a preview of the NARS holiday 2011 makeup collection. I am happy to see Maria Carla Boscono again as I really like her.

Want It: Bobbi Brown 20th Anniversary Lip Palette

I was very excited when I’ve spotted this Bobbi Brown  20th Anniversary Lip Palette.

I actually consider getting one for myself as it seems to be a great product to have if you are doing makeovers from time to time like me (or are if you are a full time MUA, obviously).

There are twenty lipsticks which include “10 original Lip Colors launched by Bobbi in 1991-plus 10 bright, ultra modern options.”

But it’s still a nice product to get if you like the variety of colours. I just really wish I could see it for myself before purchasing. I wonder how intense the colours are and have some other questions…

The price is $60 at BB website and luckily I’ve also found it at the UK QVC for £43. This means that one shade retails for £2.15/$3. The size is 4.25 in x 2.11 in x .809.

So what do you think? How often to you buy makeup without even seeing it?

Wong Kar Wai for shu uemura Holiday 2011 Makeup Collection

I have to admit that I love collaborations between shu uemura and  different designers/directors  as the results are always stunning!  This time the brand teamed with Wong Kar Wai to create the holiday 2011 makeup collection. And it is really beautiful…

This collection includes:

Burning in Water and Drowning in Flame palattes

Bleu Splendor and Festive Rouge mini nail polish sets

Special Edition

Daniel Sandler Watercolour in Truth Review and Swatches. Plus new shade POP

I have already reviewed several shades of the amazing Daniel Sandler Watercolour blushes but I have one more shade to show and the news about the brand new one.

The colour that I want to show you today is called Truth and  is described as: “a barely there nude peach shade with flattering highlights of peach and silver to brighten very fair skins. Perfect for fair to medium skin toned ladies that get high colour; this shade won’t make you look hot and bothered. In fact, it will help disguise hot flushes. ”

This such a pretty shade for those that have fair skin. But it also looks amazing on a little darker skin tones. Right now I am a bit tanned but this shade still looks perfect. It really brightens up the complexion without being too obvious, it just gives this pretty peach tint to the cheeks.

Keep in mind that it has some

Bottega Veneta, The Scent. Video and Information

The new film created by Tomas Maier about  Bottega Veneta Scent by Christian Weber caught my attention. It basically tells us about the story of the fragrance.

This is how the scent is described:

“Evoking the suppleness and sensuality of the house’s renowned leather goods, the fragrance, a leathery floral chypre, marries the olfactory language of the Venetian countryside —fresh meadows, mown hay, flowers, earth, and wood— with the gentle richness of leather in a creation crafted with the meticulousness of a master artisan.

The backbone of the fragrance is chypre with a combination of bergamot, patchouli and oak moss. Sensual floral and spicy components gesture toward the East, a recollection of Venice’s place at the end of the Silk Road.

Natural ingredients trace a global path: there is bergamot from Italy, Jasmine Sambac picked in India, and patchouli from Indonesia. Composed by renowned master perfumer Michel Almairac, the Bottega Veneta fragrance reveals its
