Tag: dark nail polish
Believe it or not, but this is my first China Glaze nail polish because it’s not that easy to track it down here. But when I got an opportunity I just had to get at least one so I’ve chosen Wagon Trial which is a really beautiful colour.
I really like black based nail polishes and this one is black with greenish/yellowish sheen to it.
I have to say that I am impressed with the quality and with the staying power (3 days with no chipping for me) of this nail polish and I am sure that I will be getting more China Glaze products when I get such opportunity. There are quite a few shades that I really like but unfortunately the stock of the shop I get them from is very limited.
I am wearing 2 coats on the photo above. Isn’t it beautiful?
Today I am wearing Baby It’s Coal Outside by OPI which is a part of Toyland Collection (Holiday 2008).
And I have to say that this is one of my favourite nail polishes. Looks like it was created just for me. It is very dark, almost black with beautiful silver shimmer.
It gives an opaque coverage with 2 coats and it last for a whole week. Yes, all OPI nail polishes that I’ve tried look perfect (and I mean it) at least 5 days.
You just have to apply OPI nail polish the right way or you can get a manicure in the salon.
And yes, I do love Parisienne. A lot!
Have you seen the winners of Illamasqua nail competition? I really love Raindrops and would really love to try it!
This is how the nail polishes are described:
- Shrapnel, pink-based metallic copper
- Raindrops, pale grey with a sheer silver sparkle.
- Eclipse, a deep purple/grey blue
And here is also a Halloween collection by OPI
