Nails Of The Day: CND Vinylux in Cityscape
It feels like I haven’t posted Nails Of The Day feature in ages. The reason? I have been wearing shellac for months, but I did feature some shades on my Instagram.
But it feels good to post a good ol’ classic, if you wish, post. It actually brings a lot of memories. I remember how my male friends were reading these features on Makeup4all out loud and found it absolutely hilarious that I would spend my time taking photos of my manicure an put it on-line. Oh well…
But back to the nail polish in question which is Vinylux by CND. It is supposed to last for the whole week, and it does have a very impressive staying power. I have actually featured a black shade some time ago.
As for Cityscape it is a
Fall 2013 Nail Polish Collections: Essie and Zoya
Here is a preview of two nail polish collections for Fall 2013 from Essie and Zoya.
The shades are:
- Cashmere Bathrobe

- After School Boy Blazer
- The Lace Is On
- Twin Sweater Set
And I personally really love all the blue and grey shades from this collection.
As for Zoya,
Nails Of The Day: Lancome Le Gris L’wren Nail Polish
When I saw the Le Gris L’wren nail polish by Lancome for the first time, I knew that it had to be mine.
It is a truly beautiful shade and I always get compliments when I am wearing it. The fact that I’ve got compliment from a manicurist who has pretty much all the shades I can think of speaks for itself.
I would describe this colour as a grey on a blue base. It is opaque with one shade. I like the brush and the application and am happy with the quality in general. This was a LE but you may be able to find it on eBay probably.
I have to say that I love the nail polishes from this year’s holiday collection by Lancome, too. Black and red are the colours I can never get tired of.
Nails Of The Day: ArtDeco Grey Nail Laquer In #106
I really love this ArtDeco nail polish which is a beautiful medium grey. I’ve been looking for such shade for some time now so I just had to get it when I saw it the other day. Plus the price is reasonable (€ 7,50).
It gives a great coverage with 2 coats and is pretty shiny but I still used Seche Vite on top which made it look even better.
This is the first ArtDeco nail polish which I’ve tried and I will get more in the future.
Dior Gris City Nail Polish Collection
Now this is something gorgeous! The 3 new Dior nail polishes from the Gris City collection which reinvents M. Dior’s beloved grey for the three capitals of fashion and luxury: Paris, London and New York.
As they are shown in the photo:
- Bond Street, likened to a grey London fog infusion.
- NY 57th representing raw, asphalt metal, a wakening shade.
- Gris Montaigne being sleek and elegant.
Each is 10ml and £17, available at Selfridges.
Aren’t they gorgeous? I’d love to have them all! And which one do you like the best?
