Hand Creams
Lush Handy Gurugu Hand Cream, £12 (for 100 gr), there is also a smaller option.
Described as a “relief for very dry hands”, and I can testify that I found it to be the case. The rich formula is a real treat, think smooth, soft, and moisturised hands. This was always on my desk, a firm staple. The scent was lovely and not overpowering, if you are worried about it, as this is a Lush product.

The lady at Lush told me this cream was developed with nurses in mind, as they wash their hands often, so they can easily become dry and cracked. But for this to be an efficient product it has to sink in quickly and not leave a greasy residue. And it does exactly that, in my opinion. The texture is lighter than Handy Gurugu but just as efficient.
Seeing how much I loved both creams, I am definitely getting their newer Sweet Wild Orange Hand Balm. I have tried it in the shop already, and it lives up to the top-notch quality, and smells incredible, too. I’d say, it is the strongest fragrance out of three.
Body Products
REN Neroli And Grapefruit Body Cream, £26
REN is one of my favourite brands, as you get great quality for the price. Their Neroli and Grapefruit Cream is a brilliant product for dry skin, it is nourishing yet not greasy. But it is all about the scent for me. Invigorating but not too sharp, it smells like orange sweets or marmalade (I put it down to Neroli Oil, distilled from Tunisian and Moroccan Orange Blossom); a perfect blend of freshness and sweetness. Absolutely addictive, I have used it up completely.
Mio Future Proof Body Butter 240ml
You can’t buy Mio products that easily anymore, so I apologise for including 3 but they are really worth it, if you can track them down. This was an absolute treat, super moisturising and softening. It lasted for ages, as well, and I enjoyed every second of using it. I also appreciate the cool design and the bright orange lid.
Luna The Everywhere Hydrating Wash, £14
I came across Luna when I was looking for a new “intimate wash”. According to the brand, their product was developed with gynaecologists and dermatologists, and Hydrating range is especially good for Menopause. And while I am not there yet, I do appreciate the products that are created with this in mind. The Everywhere Hydrating Wash is hands down, one of the best washes I have ever used. As someone who has very dry skin, I found it gentle and hydrating, a big fan. And while I do like my products to be scented, Luna have a fragrance-free range, should you prefer that.
I am 100% buying more products from the brand, and am now curious to try their on-the-go sprays, they even have a tiny pocked-size one.
Bath Products
REN Moroccan Rose Bath Oil, £36
And here is another favourite from REN. I think I’ve used and loved everything from the Rose range at this point. And the bath oil did not disappoint. If you love bath oil, and rose-scented products, this one is an absolute must. So indulging, it leaves the skin soft, silky, and smooth. It is a beautiful rose fragrance, too. Not too powdery and sickly but also not too green and crisp.
Mio Liquid Yoga Bath Soak, 200ml
This is the product I’ve asked for for my Birthday, based on my friend Jane’s (from British Beauty Blogger) recommendation. A blend of Lavender, Peppermint, Lemon, Mandarin, and Eucalyptus oils is perfect for a restful and relaxing bath. And the name alone is genius. This is the type of product that makes you love beauty, clever and efficient.
Face Products
The Shroom Essence, £51
I could see such a major difference when using The Shroom Essence. As someone with very dry skin, I appreciate the instant hydration and comfort it gives to the skin. Layered with a cream, you get that healthy-looking, glowy complexion. Game-changing, especially for AW.
Mantle The Daily Shield SPF 50, £42
Another Mantle product I loved was this lightweight yet hydrating SPF 50. Luminous skin and sun protection, it is a definite winner, in my book. Just keep in mind, that I do not wear foundation so don’t know how it behaves under makeup.
Hair Brush
Wetbrush Mini Detangler, £6.99
I have tried so many hair brushes over the years, and Wetbrush has to be my favourite. I have a regular one at home, and picked up this mini fuchsia one for traveling, and love it so much. Not only does it gently detangles the hair but this colour is also an instant pick-me-up. I have noticed, there are a lot of luxury brushes on the market that will cost you £££, but I am more than happy with my Wetbrushes for now.
