A good lip balm is a must have, especially in colder weather. I always have at least one pretty much everywhere: in my bag, near my bed, in the office, even in my pockets.
And I have realized that I never wrote about one of my current favourites – Apivita Bio-Eco Lip Care with Honey (€5.60) along with this one from L’Occitane.
I love the stylish black and simple design of the tube.
But what about the product itself?
It contains 100% natural ingredients, according to the brand. And I love the moisturizing but non-greasy texture, it feels comfortable on the lips, without being heavy or sticky. I also like the light honey-ish scent.
I have actually almost used it up, and would get a new tube.
What else is promised?
- Restores cracked lips with vitamin A, a- bisabolol and avocado oil
- Moisturizes and softens lips with honey, olive oil, beeswax, cocoa butter, shea butter, avocado oil, castor oil and jojoba esters
- Vitamin D and orange essential oil protect from environmental toxins and prevent irritations
Luckily I did not experienced cracked lips lately, so can’t confirm the first statement, but would agree about the moisturizing and softening claims. And would also hope that the last one is true, too!
Anyway, this is a good and not expensive option when it comes to lip balms and, since it’s not very shiny when applied and the packaging is black, boys could try it, too.
Next on my “to try lip balm list” : Korres and Nuxe. Can’t believe that I haven’t tried those yet. I know, right?
