I was sent some samples from the young British brand Bagsy, and I am ready to share about the two lip products already.
Wow Lips Full Colour Chubby Stick in 02 Happy Days and Lip Velvet Soft Matte Lip Colour in 04 Living The Dream. Both are very girly, pretty and Spring-like shades of pink.
The first thing you notice when it comes to Bagsy is the absolutely gorgeous packaging which is unique for every product (there are maximum 4 shades in each line), it helps to create the mood for a particular shade. And, although the pinks I have here are not my personal favourite colours on myself, I can totally appreciate the floral and feminine print, for some reason it also makes me think of ballerinas.
Besides the design, you just can’t help but fall in love with the quotes they’ve printed on each packaging. We have enough of negativity in life already, so makeup should bring a smile on our faces, and Bagsy products do exactly this. And, yes, EVERY girl deserves to be pretty today!
What about the products?
While Wow Lips is a great lipstick which feels moisturizig on the lips, gives a nice colour pay off and comes in a trendy crayon format (and that packaing is just to die for!), it is Lip Velvet which stands out for me!
It is a really great and pretty unique formula. The product feels weightless and looks like a sheer velvety tint with one layer, and can be build up for a more intense effect. And the tube looks stylish, too. It is a tiny (3.5ml) chic lipstick which would fit any handbag. And, God knows, we all already have enough of stuff there, so it is very handy.
Living The Dream, on the right, is warmer and matter (it is not properly set on the photo yet) than Happy Days, as you can tell.
