I have promised this review a long time ago, so here it is finally. It is one of my favourite cleansers which is Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel (£19/$32.50 for 125 ml) which is a melt-in-gel. It is similar to my other favourites: Elemis Melting Cleansing Gel and Terre d’Oc Milky Make-up Remover Oil.
I originally wanted to pick up Clarins’ Extra-Comfort Cleansing Cream with Shea Butter but somehow bought this one, so will get the cleansing cream next time.
As all the cleansers of this type, I massage it for some time and then wash off with warm water. The gentle gel, which also smells amazing, turns into milk and removes all traces of grim and impurities without drying out my face.
My skin feels clean, soft and ready for toner and moisturizer.
I adore it for my dry skin, but my cousin, who has very oily skin, found it a bit ‘too moisturising’ as she said. But it was in summer, so it should work for Autumn/Winter time.
Anyway, this is yet another great product from the brand and I can’t wait to try their other cleansers that I haven’t tried already.
