I think that Estee Lauder’s Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick in Nectarine is perfect shade for summer (which is almost gone) and fall as well.
It’s a beautiful warm reddish shade of tangerine (does it make sense to you? I am not really good at describing colours) with a hint of shimmer .
It gives a full coverage and opaque. Plus doesn’t dry the lips out, EL says that it’s with Vitamins C and E plus natural moisturizers.
I also find that it stays on the lips for quite a long time. Moreover, I love the scent of this lipstick and it really reminds me of a nectarine.
Overall, I am happy that I got this lipstick and, although now I love matte shades, this one is a good alternative to all matte corals that I have.
By the way, I bought quite a few Estee Lauder products in winter and now I’ve finally made some photos to show you and tell you my impression.
The price is £17.00 or $22 if you are from the US.
The color looks gorgeous on you–like you’ve bitten into a cool, juicy piece of fruit. And, yes, it does remind me of a perfectly ripe nectarine. Lovely!
Tom Pecheaux has done a wonderful job of resurrecting Estee Lauder from boredom and ho-hum products. I haven’t tried any of the lipsticks yet, but the new line of Color Pure eye shadow singles is really outstanding. Their pigmentation, color selection, texture, ease of blending, and color true wearability make them a real standout.
Thank you, Eileen!
By the way, have you seen EL holiday collection? You can find it at BritishBeautyBlogger, there is a link in “beautiful ladies” . It is called Pure Color Extravagant and is created by Tom Pecheux as well.
