I am a huge fan of Kerastase and L’Oreal Professionnel products. And I’ve already reviewed their Force Vector products and Volume Expand Root Lift Spray which I absolutely love.
I love the Volume Expand serie in general so it was obvious that I would love this shampoo.
This is how it is described:
“L’Oreal Professional Serie Expert Volume Expand Shampoo is specially formulated with mineral calcium to give your fine hair added body and bounce for enhanced volume. This shampoo boosts your hair’s volume from the roots and transforms fine fly away hair into full beautiful soft, shiny hair.”
My opinion:
This is probably the thickest shampoo that I’ve ever tried so be sure that you mix it with some water before using. It smells like citrus to me and it’s a pleasure to use it. I don’t know how they do it but this shampoo REALLY gives volume to your hair! And I don’t even use anything after using this shampoo because I am very happy with the results. My hair also looks healthy and shiny.
I also like that the price for such results is not high at all. You can get this shampoo at lookfantastic.com for £7.60(250 ml). I would really recommend you trying it if you have thin hair like I do.
By the way, my brother is using L’Oreal’s products for men and really loves it.
L’Oreal Professionnel never disappoints when it comes to hair care! I love to use their products at home and the salon I go to also uses their products.
PS. I know that I’ve used the word love/like too many times but this is the way it is 🙂
I adore the whole Kerastase range, but haven`t tried products from L`oreal Professional yet. However, after this review I will get something from the Volume Expand range these days, because I`m always on the search for good product that will give more body to my hair.
Also, I have to mention that after reading your review on Bourjois Effet Smoky Eye Pencils, I had to get one (in Grey), and I like it so much that I will buy more of them in other colors as well. So I just wanted to thank you!

Hi! I’ve tried the Kerestase volumising shampoo in the past and found that while it did add volume, it irritated my scalp for some reason, so I’m hesitating with this one even though it sounds great… Do you think it is worth a try or is it very similar to the Kerestase formula (I can’t find an ingredients list online). Thanks! Emma
Hi Emma, I personally don’t have any problems (I don’t use it on the scalp actually). Unfortunately I can’t compare it to the shampoo you’ve mentioned as I haven’t tried it.
